Some people have no sense of humor
An empty box and a lot of premium cat food. 😹
Many years ago I sort of invented this hot marinated for chicken wings and the first time my cat back then smelled those he went bananas. I soon learned that when ever I made that dish, I had to double up on the chicken because the danged cat would stop trying to steal pieces for himself. But once I took his hunger for this type of chicken into account and double up just to give him his cut, I finally managed to teach him so manners.
It wasn't long before we split that dish in equal parts, one for me and one for him. Fun little fact is that with those chicken wings I managed to teach me cat a whole slew of commands that he followed until the day he sadly passed away (That still hurts now years later).
It took me years before I was able to make another such dish, because it makes me too sad, but when I started to put away a few pieces as a sacrifice to his memory it helped and when ever I do now, I feel him there beside me begging for a piece.
And then the good memories comes back. How he in the beginning hunted those pieces and stole them straight of my plate by using tactics that would make a green beret proud, this includes sneak attacks, distraction attacks and kamikaze attacks (if you get at 6 kilo cat run up your back with claws set to I have to get there fast mode, you'd scream bloody murder too and can call it what ever you want.) We had full blown wars over those chicken wings.
But I learned that by giving him a piece as long as he acted nice worked wonders and that lead to days where anyone checking up on us would have seen both of us happily munching on our chicken wings side by side. Oddly enough it wasn't long before my cat understood words like, it is still too hot, you must wait they are not done yet and a lot more and as a trade off he taught me what some of his sounds meant, and that lead to me being able to ask him to show me and he lead me to what ever. I got 17 years with him and he saved my life 2 times by waking be due to smoke.
I really really miss my cat.

Thank you for your beautiful story, I rescued lots of cats dumped in my woods. Each one was a joy. It is so hard when they pass, enjoy your chicken wings and the memories of your buddy.
@@ruthamos2312 When my cat died, i almost joined him, that's how much it hurt and even now years later the pain of missing my cat is bad. We just got each other in a way that I can't really explain, so if there is a heaven I really hope I meet him there again.
Now his memory lives in my mind like a ghost that brings me comfort and even if that is just my imagination or me being insane, I'm thankful for that ability. He has become my pinocchio cricket to guide me along.
Things like that happen when you love and someone saves your life.
I am very very sorry your nice cat passed away I am so sorry. My beloved 20 lb cat Molly passed away due to Hurricane Harvey. I am still so sad of this. I hope you were able to get another cat since then. much much care.

Haha. That naughty fellow is only extremely 'thankful' when he managed to caused a 'wreckage' in Simon's daily life! Yet.. that's what Simon needed most. Oh my god the dinner one is WAY too relatable. I cannot leave ANY food out otherwise my Siamese cat goes "oh for ME? Madame you shouldn't have." lol. once my Siamese literally ate AN ENTIRE QUARTER POUNDER cause I left it on my tableside bed when I went to get a drink from the kitchen. I was gone for maybe a minute, and I hear that classic "mur mur mur" sound and find him and my Russian Blue mix just goin' to town lol.

That kitten on the screen was often a cuddle on a day of rain and illness with my son. Or bad or heavy situations. Every time this kitten comforted our hearts with tranquility and made us laugh. The most wonderful depiction of catting activity and so realistic! My cat sits next to me when I have a TV dinner, on a tray, and I have to put little bits of meat on the edge of the tray, which he instantly demolishes. If I don’t do that, he will swipe it clean off my plate.
