Thanks for this. I get to the point (around your three minute mark) where its in the super ugly phase and i just think 'fk it, ill bust out the airbrush'. This gives me some confidence in persevering with the brush to try for a much more detailed finish!
@@andyr1196 thank you for watching :) I really do know that feeling. But it’s important to remember it really is a process painting detailed things such as power swords by brush. Once you have a good foundation to work from it comes together nicely :)
Nice! What did you replace the original blade with to get that sort of Length?
@@ShadowlessFist so when I originally painted the blade it was on the model pictured in the thumbnail. However since it was a practice run I didn’t film it, so to film it I used a different power sword (I believe a spare sword from the Primaris Ancient) to replicate it and make it into a tutorial :)
