There are too many decorations already, we already have the naturally spawning ones, shop ones, event ones and now getting a new one every month? Our bases aren't big enough for this.

i think if those decoration have stats buff , that would be nice , like maybe if you have it in your base, all resources you get gain a 5% buff like whenever you get resource whenever from battle or pumps, or a shop cost cut ? like agian 10%

Another reason is also probably that many people will get a good skin for each of their heros and then not care about the rest, still decorations are the worst way to replace it
Decos arent even that bad when you think a player with TH 10 cant use RC skins. The game is for every TH user and not exclusive to max players. Dont use RUclipsrs opinions, use your own brain and think for a sec.

I blame fortnite for this. Since they started the battle pass thing now every game has some 'pass' that you pay to play. It is ridiculous and it is entirely about money.

I think a cool idea for the season pass is to give us an “unlock any” feature that you’d get by completing the pass. You get to access a catalog of hero skins and decorations that have been released and you get to choose one to unlock.
Just getting a decoration isn't bad. It's the fact that now all the skins are individual purchases, so they still are making said skins, but they aren't giving them anymore with the gold pass. So the philosophy of "there are already so many skins" falls flat anyways, because you are still releasing 4 skins a month, and the only change is that they are all 12 euros a piece instead of one skin that you got as a gift in the gold pass, to entice players to complete a set if they decide they like the one they got.
but a decoration is a downgrade, so we get a product that got worse and the price of the golden pass did'nt get lower (obviously i wasn't expecting it). They should give more valuable rewards like books or hammers, even a better lab/builder percentage, but no they had to get greedy and (like always) p1ss on the faces of their players.
In my opinion if they wanted to be more "inclusive" they could just make it a scenery so every player gets a cosmetic that is more visable then a 3x3 decoration

Supercell can experiment with new cosmetics, they've replaced hero skins with a scenery or a deco but the reason for changing it is highly debatable, plus for me personally the hero skin was 70% total value of the gold pass
Decorations can be fun but even supercell values them at half the price of the skin. The Olympic goblin pool was only 5 dollars so they are the ones saying its a downgrade not us.
This was the first pass I bought, since I just got the 6th builder and wanted the builder boost, liked the skin, and love TTRPGS, I saw the skins advertised as being in the pass and bought the pass before realizing I wouldn't get the skin. I am profoundly disappointed. I know I feel scammed and won't be buying any future passes that lack skins
I didn't realize so many people bought the gp solely for the skin. I do think it's shitty they took it away, but the value of the gp was never about the skin. It's all the magic items and time reductions. It's by far the best value still. I quit caring about the skins when they started selling a full set every month instead of being able to get a whole set thru the gp.

Couldn't Supercell make the gane ask, if the player is on Town Hall 7 than the player only gets a dekoration? And if the player is on a lower Town Hall than the Skin available in the Gold Pass than you get a different Skin from the current Skin Set and the other would get available in the Shop instead? Also the Dekoration gets available in the Shop if you're on Town Hall 8 or higher? Wouldn't solve this there problem too?
The problem is there's a decoration limit in the game right now, I've already reached it so unless that changes anytime soon. I didn't realize this was they planned to do this outside of just September, not sure I'll be buying a gold pass again in October

I have recently got back into Clash, from my old th7 account in abt a month, and now I have gotten to Townhall 10. Getting skins for characters you don't own is fine because it's normally cool skin. I have gotten the boxer barbarian king skin and the Heroic Champion anime skin. As much as it is a little unfortunate it's not a skin-for-character I own it is something I can look forward to when I get to TH 13 and I'm almost TH11, so it makes very little sense to me why they don't just put an option in for people to either choose old skins/ the new skin for the month and ornaments.
i do think the hero skin removal is to incentivise people to buy the actual skins directly from the store, increasing their value if it was how they said “inaccessible” they could have given everyone a scenery instead or something else with a higher monetary value, supercell know what they are doing and the “inaccessible” argument is just a cover up

I created a second account back in December 2023 and I am mid th 12, the excuse makes no sense at this point, because all the qualatiy of life updates, you have such fast progress that you have all the heroes in a couple of months. And if you buy the pass you progress even faster
It’s insane. Even when the skin was in the pass, it was always the ugliest of the set. How about keeping the skin on the pass and making players be able to CHOOSE the skin they want from the set and put it at the end of the gold pass or the middle since you’d be able to choose which one. That way everyones happy, people who don’t have the warden or rc dont have to choose their specific skin and still receive something cool.
You know why they didn't put the royal champion skin in the gold pass? Because it looks good and they know players will want that skin. So what does supercell do? Their strategy is probably (1) See if players are agreeable with the new change, if not (2) Revert changes for the next gold pass where the skins are TRASH. Supercell is plain greedy.

The excuse on accessibility is dumb on it's own already anyway. It's like saying you don't buy a new clothing for your soon to be born baby. And when talking about old heroes with many skins, you simply refer to it as the wardrobe of our own clothes at home. You can wear it if you like it at anytime.

A nice fix would be to get both the hero and the decoration. One of them at the start of the gold pass and the other when you finish all the objectives. This way there is an incentive to complete al the objectives after the 2600 points
COC just told me that if you buy the pass on-line (not in the game) after the event starts you have to wait until the next event…Eg must be purchased before the event starts.
I do find it kind of dumb that they did take out the skins from the gold pass, Because some players don’t have access to the skin if you want skin that so bad, just rush to th13 and even if you buy the gold past is You will still get the skin you just gotta get the character it dumb that they did change it but on the other hand the gold pass is still Valuable because you still get the resource boost, and a whole bunch of resources hopefully they don’t change that

They can lower the price of the gold pass (Which we know won't happen). They can add the season's scenery in the gold pass to replace the hero skin, so everyone has access to it. Finally they could have a small event that guarantees a free hero skin, players choice. But the best fix would be to just put the skin back in the gold pass.

I came back to the game after 1 year by upgrading my town hall to level 14. The gold pass was really crucial for me, it still is. I saw anime Champion skin, and now this BS decoration. F*ck it! I ain't paying for a decorations!!! I believe every person should do the same, so that those greedy devs incomes decrease and they start to question "what is wrong with the thing we are doing".
Besides the first skins released for the season pass they usually are garbage skins that being said a compromise would be sceneries instead of decorations

How about keeping the skin on the pass and making players be able to CHOOSE the skin they want from the set and put it at the end of the gold pass or the middle since you’d be able to choose which one. That way everyones happy, people who don’t have the warden or rc dont have to choose their specific skin and still receive something cool.
You know why they didn't put the royal champion skin in the gold pass? Because it looks good and they know players will want that skin. So what does supercell do? Their strategy is probably (1) See if players are agreeable with the new change, if not (2) Revert changes for the next gold pass where the skins are TRASH.

If the reason why supercell removes the hero skin is because not all players cannot use it because of their town hall level, they should change it with scenery instead of decoration.

A nice fix would be to get both the hero and the decoration. One of them at the start of the gold pass and the other when you finish all the objectives. This way there is an incentive to complete al the objectives after the 2600 points
COC just told me that if you buy the pass on-line (not in the game) after the event starts you have to wait until the next event…Eg must be purchased before the event starts.
I do find it kind of dumb that they did take out the skins from the gold pass, Because some players don’t have access to the skin if you want skin that so bad, just rush to th13 and even if you buy the gold past is You will still get the skin you just gotta get the character it dumb that they did change it but on the other hand the gold pass is still Valuable because you still get the resource boost, and a whole bunch of resources hopefully they don’t change that

They can lower the price of the gold pass (Which we know won't happen). They can add the season's scenery in the gold pass to replace the hero skin, so everyone has access to it. Finally they could have a small event that guarantees a free hero skin, players choice. But the best fix would be to just put the skin back in the gold pass.

I came back to the game after 1 year by upgrading my town hall to level 14. The gold pass was really crucial for me, it still is. I saw anime Champion skin, and now this BS decoration. F*ck it! I ain't paying for a decorations!!!

Scenery obvious take much more effort to be made than decorations or 3D skins, it's literally made by Engin Real 4, it's more profitable for them to avoid freebie scenery.
