Troubleshooting the Balance System on a Rivertown Window

Does your window sash struggle to stay in position after you raise or lower it? Watch this how-to video showing how to troubleshoot this issue. Only basic hand tools are required. This video is intended for owners of @RivertownWindows, but it may be helpful for owners of other windows utilizing compression jamb liners.
This issue can be caused by a window that was not properly supported on the sides at the time of installation. If the window is properly supported, we recommend first adjusting the clutches in the jamb liners. If that does not resolve the issue, please contact Rivertown Windows for replacement springs.
