    This is what happens when teachers ignore bullying and parents don't teach kids about respect

    • @th3azscorpio
      @th3azscorpio 6 месяцев назад +11

      Teachers have never done anything about bullying; even with parental involvement. And if they do, it's usually not until something very dire happens, after the fact. Unfortunately, it's going to have to take more of these kinds of incidents, in order for school administrators to start getting more involved.

      You are also leaving out the parents have to ACCEPT what the school is communicating to them. So many parents in denial that their kids are bullies and look at the schools as babysitters. One cannot expect the schools to fix what the parents refuse to believe is an issue to begin with.@@th3azscorpio

      IF that was the case I'd have a hard time blaming him. But so far I've not heard the school knew.
      Either way you know he loves his daughter and I have to commend that for someone of his community with a 80%+ fatherless home rate today. I do wish he didn't do that though and went about it some other way if he could have(like maybe talk to the kid outside school at least). But I'm torn of course. Girls, especially girls today lie like a mofo about things like this. So honestly it's best to wait for the facts to drop.

      They expect for the parent(s) to simply turn a blind eye to the bullying. And to tell the victim that it is their fault for not being able to just suck it up and take it. That is what they themselves are trained to tell the victim to do when they complain about being bullied. That way they can minimize the chance of being sued for allowing for a dangerous environment to flourish in the school/classroom.

    So dad went to the school probably because of the schools handling of the harassment of his daughter. Most people don't want their kids bullied at school but when the school doesn't do anything what is suppose to be done? I personally would have pressed formal charges against the student and their parents. What are parents to do when the school allows the bullying to continue? So many kids have committed suicide for bullying in school. Happened last week in Arizona and the parents did everything and had all the reports to school and local police. Parents train your kids not to be bullies and parents won't have to stoop to protecting their kids on their own in one place where kids should be safe.

    My son was bullied in school. I tried calling the teacher who told me she believed kids needed to learn to deal with this themselves. I called the principle, he told me he asked the teacher what the situation was and she told him there wasn't one, so he didn't do anything. I called the district supervisor who told me they would look into it, but the principle and teacher never bothered to even attend the meeting with us and the district representative. What really clinched it was the substitute teacher who reported the bullying to the district and that the principle wouldn't even take her report of an incident. My 30 year old niece told my son to hit the bully in the face with a bat next time he touched him. Guess which solution my son chose. When the principle called to tell me my son has hit another student in the face with a white board I pointed out that we tried to use the schools policies to address the issue but were stalled or ignored by the school and that I had warned them that my son wasn't going to ignore it anymore so it was his fault, not my sons. 6 other parents of students in the same class said the same thing happened with their children. We got my son transferred to another school the next day, the teacher kept her job which she clearly didn't deserve, the principle got to go fk himself for being a spineless loser afraid to do his job. Don't think the schools will protect your children, because they only care about their image.
