A master at work. The skill is revealed in the simplicity of the pattern effortlessly tied.

Thanks Craig. The fish were feeding heavily on PMD's below Lyons Bridge this past Summer ( July 2020 ). I did really well on the Sparkle Dun.
It would be helpful for tiers if your videos also contained the full list of materials in a note. Bucky at the shop ( Blue Ribbon Flies ) tied one in front of me and showed me what he was using for this fly. Below is what I have from my notes. Please correct me if I'm wrong:
    Hook: TMC 100 ( or TMC 100 SP-BL ), sizes 14-20
    Thread: 8/0 ( Uni ), Light Cahill
    Wing: Hollow Mule Deer Hair
    Shuck: Straight Zelon, Mayfly Brown
    Dubbing: Superfine, Pale Yellow

Does it make a difference if Antron or "sparkle yarn" or McFlylon is substituted for the Z-lon?
I feel I'm missing something about Z-lon here.....
