This technique seems so good. Less work than I have seen in other videos. Most people show back and forth a lot. Yours is quality appearance with minimal strokes. Awesome 👌 👏
Hello from North Carolina thank you CeCe for uploading new video i have learned so much about painting and blending and don't take it so serious it's just paint.
Take a fine grit sand paper and lightly sand the painted fabric. Then use a lightly damp cloth to remove the sanding dust, but don’t use a rag wet enough to reactivate the paint. Let it dry overnight, then take a wax brush and Clear Best. Dang Wax, or the clear Salve, and put it on that fabric like you would on wooden furniture. When it’s waxed take a clean, lint free cloth and. buff it, and it should be as soft and supple as it was originally!!! I’ve seen and felt painted fabric, it’s awesome!! The one mistake that people make, is it takes a LOT OF WATER. I was told that you have to get the fabric really wet, because you are literally dying the fabric. The paint is your dye. You say your chair is crunchy feeling, but it sure does look Beautiful!!! Hopefully if you try my suggestions, you will have great results. I have a love seat I’m going to be doing. I haven’t done any fabric painting yet, but I sought the advice of someone who has, and those were the tips and advice she gave me, and like I said, her pieces were perfect! Hope that helps. I LOVE the Bombay chest you are doing!!!♥️
You do amazing work on furniture and your beautiful hair. You’ve explained many aspects of furniture painting but what do use and how do you do the color highlights in your hair.

We're you using chalk paint?
Thank you.
the chip brushes are they from Dixie Belle or just from your local hardware store?
Tawana Gotham, You can get them anywhere, but Dixie Belle’s are a better quality, and a bit more expensive.
