Great video. In this video is almost a documentary man You did a great job going into the interior and speaking with the actual producers of the palm oil. That's amazing Hope this video goes viral one day.
I really enjoyed this video thank you. Extracting the oil is labour intensive and these people are hardworking. They also appear healthy and strong. I felt like joining them in the work but the reality is i will probably perish in 10 mins because i am a soft westerner 😅
My brother, you videos are just beyond imagination. You do such good work and your videography is second to none I wonder why your channel only have 10,000 plus subscriber.
What local communities need is more investment especially towards the cost of machinery. Govts should be encouraging more training in Agriculture farming. Malaysia is ahead coz of investment. Everything boils down to money. Thanks David 😊
I like almost all your videos, ranging from Rice in Akwa ibom, Fish from Cross Rivers e.t.c But why can't you added the contact of the manager(s) of the factories 🙏🙏🙏
I love agro content like this maybe cause I'm an agric content creator.😊 We'll love to see something on catfish. I wouldn't mind helping you hold your tripod stand, drone bag e.t.c😂😂
This is all sensational! Yes ! Nigeria was number 1 previously ! At these times, only Indonesia and Malaysia produce more! Nigeria remains the 3rd largest producer of crude palm oil in the world!
"Why must it be mud?" Ha ha ha! That's what $2000 a day Management Consultants ask; '...but why this way? What is the rationale?' Fascinating stuff, D.
It is not mud. Dirt mixed with water is mud. In this case, it is just the clay which is mixed with water. It is used to seperate the shell from the meat of the seed which is further processed into palm kernel oil.
Nigerian government should help farmers to produce products for export. Every average Nigerian is looking to fly abroad. That's quite bad. This is due to bad governance. Nigerians should go back to farming for God's saka
It's because of Price instability sir... Govt should impose Anti dumping duty and promote local growers but they never do it do to consumer price inflation... Palm production to distribution system is so much integrated but still we don't get subsidies for years (wonder where crores of money is flowing out)
There are plenty of of illegal garbage dumps in India that can be converted into oil palm sites. Windrows of compost from garbage that are 5-6ft. tall could be placed between the rows of oil palms. The leachate from the compost will be feeding the oil palms. In two months, 1/3 of the degraded garbage can be used for bio-methane production. In another four months, the remaining 2/3 of the compost is sold for agricultural compost. Mean while, the oil palms are happy little creatures, waiting to reach maturity for oil production. The people involved are making money from the compost and the removal of pollution. Today Indians are going the Persian Gulf States merely to be treated with contempt and as slaves while the could stay and help prosper the country.
Wrong, the boiled fruit is not put into a grinding machine. It is is into a thrashing machine. And the thrashing machine is being overloaded simply because they design the gearing ratio incorrectly from the motor to the load. They are wasting production time and money.
@@safiyahamisu5874 you misunderstood. He gave the wrong name of the machine which he called grinder. The correct name is thrashing machine. The purpose of this machine is to seperate the cooked fruit into the flesh, fiber, seed& oil. In English, the fiber is also called “chaff” and the seed is also called “kernel.”
@youme1414 who said it was a rumour? Malaysia did not denial it. It was one guy in Nifor who said it's not true, because he was trying gain popularity. Buy the records are there that they came and took the seedlings. In fact they came through the late businessman Mko Abiola
@@DavidNkwa That is not true, sir. The British introduces Palm oil trees to Malaysia from eastern Nigeria as ornamental plants in 1870s ( they are used like flowers). The seedlings the country uses for their oil palm production come from Amsterdam, in the Netherlands. People should stop making this wrong claim, sir.
Lovely documentary. Nigeria is blessed

Lovely documentary. Very insightful. How much is 1 of those milling machines?
Can hardly wait to watch. In America we were taught in school palm oil is bad. I learned it's one of the healthiest oils (Red Palm).
Yes it is
@@DavidNkwa please how is it bad? Coz in Nigeria we were taught in school that is a good source of Vitamin A.
I said it's good to his last statement

Nigeria is No 1 palm oil producer after learning the farm technology from Malaysia & Indonesia

Do u have video on where they produce oil at Port Harcourt
Malaysia is no 1. Nigeria sold their birthright to them.
Lol.
I don't think we sold our birth right. It's just we neglected that sector because of oil
The military regime caused many problem in nigeria

Great seeing how it's produced.

Interesting Government has to provide them with new technology from planting to processing it
Now I know why they are importing palm oil products despite the fact that they produce a lot of it.
economic strength and infrastructure progress Nigeria, Africa and Indonesia beat the economy of the GDP of western European countries.
Hi how can i buy the oil please
Depends in where you live
I sell palm oil in Nigeria how many kegs you want?
