- This time I take my DIY modified 48v 2000w Mototec (Velocifero) Mad out for full test ride in San Francisco, 35mph top speed on flat ground. This is a perfect set up for riding in San Francisco.
Mototec Mad (stock 1600w) upgrades list:
Kunray 45amp controller
2000w motor
48v 25ah 50a lithium battery
Gusty adjustable coil suspensions

11/27/2020 update : Replaced the slow start controller to hard start controller , no more slow speed lag problem.
Get a 52v 20ah battary you welcome and 44 gear 👌🏾💯♥️

I bought it from Big Toys USA 2 years ago, about $1100
How is it off-road? Can it go up steep hills easily? I was looking at one of these for hunting... Bad choice?
Looks like a dangerous ride, must have been well over the 20 mph limit lol. That speedometer app reliable? Guess you would need one at those speeds!
It's pretty fun tbh, takes some getting use to. but once you have it down, it's a great way to get around and perfect for offroad trailing. however I will say anything over 30mph on those knobby tires feel super sketch to me so i keep mine around 25.
Did ur scooter originally come with lead batteries is so did lithium improve speed and range?
Stock was lead acid battery , the lithium battery improve the range , more stable performance for long run and save 20 lbs of weight.
I have 48v 2000w motor, and my battery been fried. And I’m look everywhere online and can’t find the same batteries please help I need a 48v 25ah

I have a similar scooter it used to be smooth and quiet now when the wheel turns the chain is sounds like a grinding sound? Help any thoughts
Take off the wheel , grease the wheel bearing and lube the chain

How stable does this feel at speed?
It feels so stable with new rebound adjustable suspensions, stock suspensions were bouncing crazy over 25 mph.
@@oak320 mine should be here tomorrow. I'm looking at upgrading the batteries first to 48/20 lithium and see what range and top speed I get before doing anything else.
@@checkthisout09 If you planning to upgrade the controller and motor later, you should get 48v 50amp battery, and 20ah seems too small for this heavy scooter. I would suggest you to get at least 25ah.
