  • finally got to test out the new Elka shocks on the 400EX today and I can say they are amazing. with the adjustability with the low speed and rebound adjustment.
being able to change settings on the fly is so nice. still needing to adjust them some more and really dial them in to my kind of riding. the riding I did today is nothing even close to what I normally do I just needed to get out and get a feel for them.

I have the exact exhaust for my 400. I really wish that white brothers still made exhaust systems because the e series is truly the best sounding one for this bike.

I've always ran yoshimaru on my four strokes but this bike came with the white brothers and I've enjoyed it on the 400 so I decided to keep it on there never heard a 400 with a Yoshi pipe

@@Betterhalfoffroad they sound too "open" if that makes sense. It's almost like straight piping it, which sounds pretty bad on a quad. Not hating on yoshi though.

Iv only like the Yoshi pipe on my ltr450 because the bike has high enough compression to it

what are the absolute best shocks you can put on honda 400ex. And what is the best bang for buck shock you can get for a 400ex. This is for trail riding and not doing jumps.

Honestly the Elka shocks that I have on my 400 is definitely a really good bang for the buck not exactly super cheap but you can also get 450 shocks and have them set up for dual rated springs that is the best and most cost-effective way to do it

What are the settings you have them adjusted at right now? I’m having trouble getting mine where I need them

I'm still adjusting mine iv put some preload on the springs and clicked them up a few notches on the rebound and high speed but I'm still fine tuning them
