They should have let him do martial arts in The Twilight Saga. Less love triangle, more wolf martial arts parkour action. Even though Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are really talented, serious actors, Taylor’s acting was the most nuanced and natural in those movies, and he did the best with the bad dialogue. But, because he was shirtless most of the time he wasn’t taken as seriously, I guess. I am rooting for him to get all the success he wants.
@@nicolestefankofuentes1193 Paterson was shirtless occasionally, done nothing for me though. I didn’t find him handsome either Pattison. I think it’s because he was the main lead & more attention on him hence Taylor wasn’t thought about. But I preferred Taylor ls acting & looks. I thought Taylor was more of a natural actor, but yes having him do more martial arts would have been great. A wolf that could do martial arts 🤣

Guy is a stud… some of his best work acting is in Ridiculous 6. Absolutely killed it with comedic timing.
I feel the same way he was legit the only saving Grace in that film it changed my perspective on him as an actor.
He's also a stud for dating TSwift.
So many highschool boys hated this guy back when I was in school. He stole their girlfriends without ever meeting him.

I competed in the world champion he is talking about. I saw him win twice. Unfortunately, I'm older than Taylor and in a higher class, so I didn't get to fight him but how legendary that would have been. He is truly a super talented guy.

I don’t find it necessary to raise one actor up by diminishing the attributes of another. I think both Taylor and Robert are extremely talented. I think Taylor received a disservice from the media post Twilight and it’s a real pleasure to see him, seemingly well, and being valued for his many talents.

@@juliewinfield5986 Taylor Lautner was 100% the actor who played SharkBoy in the 2005 movie, The Adventures of SharkBoy and Lava Girl in 3-D. I was a adult and had child age sons. We physically owned the movie and watched it hundreds of times.

When Andy left Cuckoo hubby and I were doubtful about survival of the show and whether Taylor could do well in UK comedy but he was so hilarious! So funny and endearing he really had such great chemistry with Greg Davies and the rest of the cast. We were so thrown when he left. We hope to see Taylor in British comedy again he was so brilliant. Producers and directors probably didn't realize he has action movie skills. His management might not have been good either.
a) the muscular thing - he prob only got offered low end Action Movie partd & not starring roles bc the more Established Action stars got those - but b) even though Taylor has Dutch, French & German Ancestry - a lot of U S Directors will see him as "part Native American" (& I bet mostly that!) & these jokers are usually extremely rac**t that way, they "don't like" what some term"Ethnic" movie stars in the U S - go figure! The U S is that way in many respects - it's very very different here in the UK re race🙏💜🇬🇧💜

It was all to do with money. Too much money was being demanded by his management for him and the got greedy! So sad as it finished him when he should have done better that Pattinson.
I loved ‘abduction’ . I often wonder if his management got greedy more that Taylor when he was offered stuff after Twighlight. Taylor doesn’t strike me as greedy at all. Anytime I’ve seen him in interviews he’s very humble and down to earth! I truly hope he makes it as he has talent and the looks and the martial arts so he is the full package!

He was very wooden in Twilight, his acting was awful in fact. He may be a nice guy and I’m glad his acting may have improved but he doesn’t have film star looks or that quality that is needed for the big time.
