    Born and Raised there in those mountains or Hills but watching your video was a whole different experience and felt very nostalgic because I have walked those trails so many times of my years when I was there. Very National Geographic videographic and great narration, Loved it.

    Hats off to you Sunil.....it was no less than a real adventure for me too to watch this video, especially the last 2 kms uphill drive from Bikhubhanjyang. I was just watching on the bonnet constantly till your vehicle reached Sandakphu.
    This is the most beautiful video that i have watched on Sandakphu till date.

      @@MukeshThakur Thank you 🙏 Sadly private vehicles are not allowed to ply on this route nowadays. Ride the iconic Landrover from Maneybhangyang to Sandakpur…you will love it.

    It takes experience to drive through the last lap of the road , but you and your machine did pretty well. Have seen these young boys ride these Land Rover’s with so much ease and whenever the machine gave problem all they did was hammer some parts of the machine and it would start running again..Land Rover’s is truly a monster vechicle ,but your thars not bad either 😁

    did you hire any vechiles from the Land rover association ? if "yes" did they pressurised you to do so or you just hired it for your safety ? if "not" how could you managed them ? I've a plan just like you

      Private vehicles are not allowed to ply here anymore. I recommend that you hire a Landrover from Manebhanjang and enjoy the drive with an experienced driver.

    A wonderful video of what must have been a memorable drive...Have been to this splendid place twice once on a Land Rover during October and once as a trekker during the Rhododendron season and have fond memories of the place.
    By the way how and from where can I get permission from the forest department to drive my own car to Sandalphu??

    Amazing video, but I just wonder is it really that much worth to cross such dangerous roads to reach Sandakphu if the view from Tonglu itself is such beautiful 😍. Is the kanchenjunga view from Sandakphu better than Tonglu? I was just asking this question because I want to travel with my parents, and such pathetic roads to reach Sandakphu can give serious back pain and physical strain 😰

      The road ahead of Gairibas is a pain if you are taking your parents along.The road till Tonglu is good nowadays.I feel the views from Sandakpur is better and you can also see Mount Everest from Sandakpur.
