They're always good, you can count on it. Armed with a catalog of classic songs, Barry & Andy bring it every time. IMO They have more dance- melancholy - consistency than New Order, Blancmange, Depeche Mode, Pet shop Boys, Dead Or Alive, Thompson twins or the Human League!! Their long, impressive string of hits is undeniable & irresistible. ❤🎉😊
Or is it a reference to Paul being Mr Humphreys? ….. Barry Humphreys ….. Dame Edna Everage! … I must admit Paul does walk in a slightly camp way but I have never seen him wearing a dress! …. 😂
This was a shortened set that was being catered to an American audience. Bauhaus Staircase wasn’t even released over here physically so it’s pretty typical that they will stick to the songs that most of the audience would be familiar with especially in a Festival setting where they are not the main act. I too was disappointed that Messages was left out of the set.

Indeed. 1/2 klick between stages too. Crowd size and the sand movement penalty made set hopping difficult.
Yes, my sore calves can attest. Dancing to OMD on sand is fun until you feel it the next day.
