I am a girl and don't understand why people shy away from complimenting Katrina. She is freaking amazing, she's not a trained dancer but works super hard and has a body to die forrrr. Of course, she gets paid to be this way and is the only thing she does but she's great at it. I do agree that her acting is mediocre but she's one of the best female dancers Bollywood has ever seen. Madhuri and Sridevi were good in their times, Karishma surpassed Madhuri in DTPH. Aishwarya is amazing and could possibly do something like this if she trains hard enough but Katrina is more athletic so can do some of the moves better. The reaction was dull, the scene was that she was auditioning and wanted to show different forms of dance and I don't think it was off beat. I've seen some of the reactions on this channel, and most of the stuff y'all talk abt is your own crap and not about the video and even then the reaction is just dull. The Kala Chashma video, y'all kept criticizing the sunglasses but did not bother to see that they are emphasizing the glasses with their actions because the title of the song actually translated to "black glasses"/ "sunglasses". This is basic stuff so maybe y'all should research the basic stuff before reacting.

This is part from the movie where she is auditioning to get into Amir's Magic Company..and he gives her few mins to amaze him, and she was desperate to work with him.
The thing is, if you knew the setting of the song and the circumstances why it's there, you'd get why the dance is not mismatched. At all. In this part of the plot line of the movie, he(Amir Khan a.k.a the cool guy who kept a straight face the entire time) is the head of a circus and she(Katrina Kaif, the hot dancer) is auditioning for the lead position. As the circus he runs is a modern circus and was looking for someone fit for the role and the theme of his circus, she did all those dances and steps to show her talent and capability. The jumping, the swinging, the 'flying' on the rope was to showcase her gymnastic abilities, which come by later in the movie in another song.
I remember first watching this movie, and this dance impressed me sooo much, like I wanted to be her, it was such a great dance, and so unique from other bollywood movie dance I'd seen because it was breakdance, hip hop and everything that was the beauty of it, and the amount of outfit changes blew my mind.
Though nobody talked about Katrina's dance that much in this video(probably because it was too hot for them to handle) but while watching the video they definitely were mesmerized and stunned watching Katrina perform and their eyes were glued till the end.
Have to disagree with Rachel for the first time, the lyrics, beat goes perfect with the dancing. Plus it’s a audition so she had to demonstrate all her skills.
