34:18 - (2) thoughts about the Big Bang - 1. From their own "science" a something in motion tends to stay in motion and something at rest tends to stay at rest. So if the BANG started everything what caused its motion to begin with in order to even have a bang? If nothing happened before the BANG then things must have been at rest. What caused them to stop being at rest? 2. The chances of a universe being so ordered and a world so ordered out of the chaos of a BIG BANG is like clipping thousands of individual alphabet letters, loading it into a confetti canon, shooting it off and WALA - King Lear is instantly written by all the letters coming together exactly to make the text of the book! AMAZING! - and so believable when looked at this way, too!
This is one of the best conferences I've ever heard. I have listened a couple of times. I even say to myself and to my friends when in doubt, or confused or in need of counsel... LOOK UP!

David you cannot truly Love the Catholic Church and Love evolution. Evolution is a LIE straight out of Hell, a snare for the intelligent. If you believe in evolution you are effectively in Dawkins camp not God's camp. THe Holy Bible is the Truth from cover to cover. If a person believes evolution he will certainly lose his faith when some trial comes. Evolutionism results in atheism. Pray hard for God's enlightenment and WAKE UP!

@@orvilleignatious7088 Thanks for the link. I hope David is still with us. Usually the ones who obsess over evolution like this end up atheists after months, more or less years. I did - and I don't know if I'll ever get out of the inexpressible debt I'll be paying in Hades/Purgatory for it, if I am fortunate enough to have been predestined there.
@@ourdictatorship Just reverted, evolution is quite the snare but with prayer and understanding the failings of human thought and science become clear and besides we should not get bogged down with the physical better to not make a judgement on Gods creation at all.. Our duty is to our souls and the souls of our brothers and sisters not explaining physical reality.
I wonder if this priest is aware that the Big Bang theory was proposed by a Catholic priest? A lot of what he says makes sense but there are a lot of holes in it, especially not acknowledging that God can use whatever means and agents that He wants to in order to achieve His will.
I'm sure he knows. But that's irrelevant. A God-chosen Bishop, Judas, betrayed Christ. Martin Luther, a type of Antichrist was a Catholic Priest. The Arian Heresy, also from a Prelate. The infallible teaching of The Church is we are all descendants from Adam and Eve, two specific parents, at a specific time in a specific event, Creation. God did not withhold The Truth of Creation from His people for six thousand years, only to have a group of intellectual idiots, many Freemasons and mostly Atheist, announce to God's people that they now know the mysteries of creation. Genesis is The Word of God. A basic understanding of the different genres, along with Traditional, Catholic commentaries, preferably by authors who's first initials begin with St, is a good start. Pray for humility and a sincere desire to know the Truth. God will enlighten you to the degree He Wills. Blessings.

The whole modern system of so-called 'science' with respect to origins is a rejection of the Christian worldview. It's a purely materialistic system with little of actual science to back it up.
I'm sorry, but I am a traditional Catholic who exclusively goes to Latin Mass and embraces pretty much all the theology I have learned over the years, but I still accept evolution and the Big Bang as what they are; scientific theories that seek only to explain in detail the process of how God's creation came to be. The Church, ever so wise and unable to err, has not ruled on whether evolution is a matter pertaining to salvation, given how the lower sciences do change as more evidence is presented. The claims of young-Earth creationists and geocentrists (and I have looked at their "evidence") show a profound misunderstanding of what they are so boldly calling one of the most evil of humanity's inventions. Evolution isn't even a philosophy, it never was. The only thing flawed about evolution is the atheistic application of it, trying to make it look as if the order of the universe and the natural world occurred through this process randomly and by mere chance, and even worse is when they do twist it into a social philosophy leading to evil.
It was a Jesuit priest who came up with The Big Bang. Make of that what you will.
Big Bang and evolution are modern anti-Christian philosophical systems based entirely on the philosophy of materialism.
