The Saba' he used in here was a relief to my heart. Btw sheikh doesnt do this now "2:32" and if be does sometimes, its not with the same power. Anyways I like the new recitations more, they're moderate between smoothnees and power. Sheikh's voice feels even more polished for last 3-4 months. May Allah bless him and grant him the strength to recite better in the future.
I believe that is tar'eed as part of Maqam Saba' He was called out for it in other recitations, perchance he made a change to disinclude it for his recitations

@@marshadoww-z5k Im of the opinion that tar'eed is not wrong as is evident by the clear commandment in the Qur'an to recite beautifully. It is a technique and as long as Makhārij and Tajweed are not being overtaken it is all good. There is a fine line between lahn khafiyy and lahn jallī "minor vs major" and this falls under a grayzone.
