Neat how you can base a video on a well written article and still give your followers new material with it! Great job, Tuggle!

I think this might be your first split screen video… interesting! I’m amazed how over grown things are on the old Pacific Highway at this location.

Caught the premiere! Saw everyone chatting about this. This was awesome to see on film Jeremy! It was shot differently than California Unearthed’s version too. Nice job.

Hey there, Jeremy, much thanks for the post. Do you have a map that actually shows the original route of historic 99 between Redding and Mount Shasta? I've searched the internet to no avail. If you have one, could you please share it, thank you!

I guess people had more time to stop on these highway bridges back then. I just don’t understand why so many benches… where would you stop the vehicle to get out?

It is beyond incredibly sad to see these old highways and bridges fall into disuse and without repair. They go through some of the most beautiful scenery anywhere, and the roads and bridges themselves were built with the most aesthetically pleasing architecture. Places I wish to God I could drive on, and their abandonment thoroughly angers me to no end. 😭

It was a popular phrase back in the 1970s … used to see it on bumper stickers, especially. I seem to recall seeing it on t-shirts, as well. Looks like someone's rehashing that old phrase on the bridge.

An old phrase, meaning shut the TV off, get up and get outside. Live life and do things, don't just sit there and vegetate in front on thr "Idiot box". It's an old term.
