- Dallas defeats Los Angeles, 96-93, to tie the series up 1-1. For Dallas, Luka Doncic led the way with 32 points (five 3PM), six rebounds, and nine assists with Kyrie Irving recording 23 points (four 3PM), six rebounds, and three steals in the victory. James Harden finished with 22 points, six rebounds, and eight assists while aided by Paul George (22 points, four assists) and Kawhi Leonard (15 points, seven rebounds, four steals) for Los Angeles in the losing effort. The best-of-seven series is tied 1-1, with Game 3 taking place on Friday, April 26, 8:00 PM ET, ESPN.

Lads I'm mavs all the way but this game could have gone either way. I'm hard pressed to think of a more intense game in terms of pace and defense. So many turn overs balls hit out of bounds. Luka airballing open threes. We were blessed. Clippers had 36 % fg
Well obviously you are a casual basketball fan. Can you not see everyone in the playoffs shooting below their averages ? It's because everyone is trying way more on the defensive end. You live in a dreamworld if you compare regular season statistics to playoff statistics. Going 1-1 against any team on the road is great

You guys weren't blessed that Clippers had a 36.8% field goals. Dallas defended very well and won thanks to it. Luka with those airballs and all had a 42.3% field goals which is way better than Clippers and above Mavs % (42.1%). You must give credit of part of that to Luka too, because Clippers had a 2/17 field goals in shoots defended directly by him.
In the first game, Dallas had 38.8% because Clippers defended great and they didn't. In that game, Clippers had 46%. Now they paid back with great defense and deserved the victory.

@@jamesmckenna5438 nothing personal man.. saying a basketball casual was not intended as a bad thing, but people who maybe don't watch nba regulary might think they are playing worse now if we purely focus on point scored per game and fg%, but its in fact the hard defense which is the reason for those. Either way we knew this series is gonna be a dog fight

Kyrie and Luka actually played worse than the first game.
The whole Dallas stats are ctually under seasons average.
42% to seasons 48% in FG, 17 assists compared to 25. It was the rebounds (50 vs 45 average) and 3P% of 42 compared to 30 and something that saved this game.

In the Knicks game they overturned and obvious foul on Donte by Lowry, In the lakers game they overturned an obvious foul on Russel and that was an obvious foul on Kawhi by Irving.
