people saying you can target ranarrs with the herb relic... you can also do the same with the farming relic using a little known trick called "planting ranarr seeds"
To add to this, you don't really even need to the farming relic with the 5x growth rate. You can basically just do herb runs constantly and things will be grown by the time you finish a loop. I am taking forager only for the secondary saves. You'd be surprised at how many secondaries are a pain in the ass to get with certain region combinations. With certain regions eye of newts or red spider eggs are a giant pain in the ass to get. Like 1 drop at 1/128 rates for red spider eggs and 1 drop at 1/14 for eyes of newt. The 90% secondary save is a lot better then people give it credit for.
The targeting of herbs makes it easily the best practically and will allow grimoire to be picked for prayers/spellbooks. Thieving relic sounds like it'd be the most fun though so for those competing I'd expect them to go forager and for randoms having fun I'd expect thieving/agility.
Thieving relic is op if you're going priff because infinite enhanced teleport seeds basically means free 99 in crafting and smithing fully afk. Otherwise it does feel like bait, even with vyres blood fury is mediocre in leagues.
The herb ones so useless, anyone that played leagues in the past knows how few supplies you need due to how broken strong you are, especially with base 5x farming times, you will already have way more pots than you will need, completely wasted relic if you take it.
I agree, but I also think the 3rd relic choice on the same tier as farming relic and grimoire is going to be a good one. I'm gonna say its the clue hunter relic alongside those 2.
I think herb is secret op. It fills with herb you dont have so you can target rannar, huasca if varly, snapdragon. If you have alchemist goggles, 1 secondary supplies infinite pots.
I'm thinking Thieving with Overgrown relic, pickpocket master farmer and store them all in your leperchaun hat/vault and then reap all benefits of farming while doing anything else in the game.
@pacoisatoco i am planning on going melee so piety is a little icing. Have colo and inferno to look forward to so the extra healing from ancients would be nice. Im not set on grimoire because i have cox to get the other prayers but something really good would have to go up against it. Farming relic isnt it for my path personally
The herblore relic gives smithing xp too if we're just making shit up edit: turns out it's real, underwater thieving is cracked with the thieving relic, confirmed by mod Husky
Did you after three minutes just watching this video? No. A lot of info on the relic, like # of herbs stored, speed of getting herbs, and selectivity of them was not part of the video.
Herb if you don't have any good option or are dead set on Grimoire. Agil seems the most underwhelming or least impactful. Thieving relic has been confirmed to work with underwater thieving making it ~2.2m agil xp/h without flippers and about 5-6m for the lucky Asgarnians. I think with our FMT pick the best option outside of this would be Seppu at around 1.44-1.56m xp/h at 92 so it could make thieving the superior pick in terms of versatility. But easy fast herbs... farming will suck if Grimoire on top of only having 4 patches to manually farm.
This right here is what makes thieving the strongest imo, combined with Overgrown, you solve farming, herblore, agility, and thieving, meaning u only lose out on not having the prayers/spells, and secondaries which depending on ur regions shouldnt be too hard
I keep seeing people in your chat say this goes hard at HAM. It does not. The broken swords, armors, buttons etc don't note when you pickpocket them (wasn't the case last leagues) and you fill up your inventory every 1-2 pickpockets with this relic. Not afk at all and not what they're expecting it to be lol
@@SikGamer70 yea, but not that much quicker than last leagues. You had all the easy clues needed within an hour anyway. If you really want to make this relic good for clues, go Kandarin. While herb relic solves herblore, Farming will still be a pain. I might skip grimoire and take overgrown to solve both farming and herblore, and use the thieving relic on farmers to get seeds.
@@bluexh512 yeah, you'll only need to do trees for like 2 weeks (if even) to get 99. Target farming only useful herbs will be immensely more powerful than passive farming since tree runs are only a tad slower.
The herblore relic 100% solves herblore and pushes total recall further down the tier list because stat potions will be easy to target farm and maintain
@@bluexh512 yeah with 3 mahogs its 790k xp a day. I'm going to have 2 tree patches and with magic trees its basically 440k xp every 2 hours. Farming is solved purely from the 5x growth speed. As a wildy/morry/asgarnia picker I just feel like I’d rather not farm endless spider bosses to sustain my potions. Plus I can 0 prayer vyres once I get my melee tiers higher, and even before that I can 0 pray them with guthans reliably
I’m going the same regions as Boaty being TMF, I’m going Overgrown so I can go thieving, I don’t need piety for an 8% damage increase to save ~3s on a boss but will save a shit ton of time from the farming relic and then I can choose thieving which is broken in these relics. 50m crafting and smithing banked easily
Can you believe some people said the Forager relic was the WORST and agility was the BEST? Some people are seriously on copium lmao. Im still torn between herb and thieving, targeting herbs is great, 9 tick cd per herb, but thieving AND agility put together now? Yeah hard choice
the herb one is probably the best, lets be honest. but i cannot be fucked to click a guy 100000000 times over and over to get my thieving up in leagues. i'll just run laps or brimhaven for agility, and spend my agility tickets for snapdragons for herb training. lol jk i'll kill bosses for herbs
I was really hoping to pick a Trickster like relic this League, but for someone who is planning on taking Arcane Grimoire, Friendly Forager is a must have.
arcane grimoire unlocking prayers that only give you a 1-10 tick faster kill speed on monsters won't be worth it. Take my advice and skip arcane grim and take auto farm. then youll be able to pick between agility relic and theiving. up to you at that point. If you dont believe me, check the dps calcs. change eagle eye/ mystic might to rigour/augory and your dps will increase by like... 3%. Not worth it.
Imo thieving is only good if you need something to afk (agility can also be afk) or if you need something from a stall/chest. Stealing from Tzhaar could be good with ice gloves (F or A) and is definitely good in T and K. It seems kinda bad though if people can just crash you at the stall. Thieving is easily one of fastest skill in the game and early money shouldn't be an issue for most people especially if they have a gem shop or the mining relic. Blood shards aren't that great imo especially if you're going F like everyone else. Agility is good especially if you have lap count tasks but the fact that it doesn't prevent failure during courses seems pretty lackluster. It's definitely the most time saved going for max/50m tho Herb definitely seems like the best especially if you want to do the herb minigame pretty early. A decent amount of bosses/raids shit out herbs and secondaries but secondaries are still hard to come by for most of the game. But you might be getting so many purples you might not get many supplies and it's good for inventory management.
Why are some relics super overtuned like thieving with 100% success rate and auto picking whilest something like potions is not 100% saving secondaries?
I honestly hate the Jmods approach to this seasons skilling. Every skilling relic is making you choose certain skills to have fun with, leaving more skills to be trained the normal way. If I wanted to train skills the normal way, might as well play the normal game. They're thought process so far has been, lets find 3 things that are hard to choose between that end up screwing the player for not choosing the other relics. Meanwhile you can get max combat in 1 to 2 days. If you want to max and get the 200pt 99 skills tasks, you'll be spending less time training combats and more time training skills, for the most part, the normal way you would train them. You'd think that would be a good trade, but with this season being focused around Combat Masteries, you're gonna be mostly PVMing, meaning you'll be getting your combat stats up anyways.
You got it right that this years focus does seem to be about the PvMing, but thats the genius of it since the Combat masteries are a completely separate Combat only progression. While it does suck to see Trickster being split into multiple relics on the same tear, its also fantastic because of all the Theory-crafting around it. The previous leagues there were clearly better options than others (Last recall > Jewelery) for example. That nearly every relic has a use or someone arguing for it is great. It certainly isnt for everyone but rushing to get the 8k points or so to buy every cosmetic for the year isnt too bad no matter what your choices are. Its more for the people planning to play the entire 8 weeks where the choices really matter. And saying 16x experience and the crazy buffs we get during the Leagues is just the 'normal way you would train them' is kinda putting the cart before the horse there. Chill, relax, have fun and if you don't just play the 'normal game'
@@joeguimond3092 When i said normal way, i obviously meant the methods. Part of the beauty of leagues is getting to do skilling methods you wouldn't normally do on the main game.
