Thank you! Have been looking for this for ages!
Glad I could help!
Thank you so much for uploading this splendid version of one of the best adventure tales ever written! I will be eternally grateful!
Glad you enjoyed it! It is a great version of a great story, I agree, with a cast that I adore from other programmes.
We have some more classic programmes on the way, and some 'original content' too

Fantastic. I have been looking for The Prisoner of Zenda & Murder Not Proven from 1984, so that's one off my bucket list. The BBC are a nightmare for not reshowing or DVD selling old drama whilst producing some pretty low quality modern stuff. Thank you!
Yeah, it's such a shame there are shows that are not reshown or available.
@@archivemediavault Yes: the other one I'm looking for is the 1980 'The Talisman'.
"To a man of spirit opportunities are duties"
A maxim to live by!
I laughed so hard when Rudolph the fifth when he saw Rassendyl about to get up just yelled "SIT DOWN!!"
LOL
Oh, lovely! Like The Flight of the Heron, I'd hoped to get to watch this for the longest time - and never managed until now. I'm especially curious to see Moran (Miss Lemon!) as Antoinette de Mauban, and Morris as Rupert - one of my favourite scoundrels in literature. Thank you very much!
My pleasure. I will upload the rest of the series on a regular basis.
The usual upload days are Sundays and Wednesdays. So episode 2 should be Wednesday, if all goes well, followed by Episode 3 next Sunday, and so on.
i hope you enjoy episode two. It is up on the channel and episode 3 should be up on Sunday.
@@archivemediavault Oh yes - I'm having enormous fun. I love John Woodvine's Colonel Sapt: "Ye Gods - a heretic!" :-D
@@laclarina3588 John Woodvine is always great, isn't he.
@@archivemediavault I remember seeing him play Philip II in Schiller's Don Carlos ages ago at the Barbican... wonderful!
