have you ever had it freeze. meaning what ever your watching still works but to change volume or input, even the power switch doesnt respond. i have to disconnect the power then plug it back in for it to work again. it does it often
My SR7010 amp gives no output for Dolby TRUEHD and DTS HD MA signals. Is it because the amp does not support these formats? When I switch to PCM mode from bitstream, these formats work as multichannel in. Atmos works fine with Dolby Digital Plus sources. Is there some setting I need to change? Please help! This is driving me crazy!!
My my.. That is a good setup, indeed.. Congrats. But the screen is very tiny on this one. You need to set a large screen my friend.. It’s worth it.. I have a SR6011 (with 7.2.2 Atmos set) and I have a curtain screen of 155” and a full hd picture with a projector. Soon, I’ll try to have a 2160p one.. This kind of setups need a big screen.. Nevertheless, this is a nice review dear friend.. ;)
Do you know that Demon and Marantz are the same company ? Demon is the cheaper brand and Marantz is their high end brand . I have a Marantz NR-7110 which is the slim version of your receiver . Of course it has less power output and only a extra zone but the other features are included . I love this receiver sound and features !
Please help - I bought Marantz sr6015 and having tv led Samsung problem is when I switch on video conversation my tv gets blur, flux while menu on of Marantz , i cannot see tv apperiance same time as well as menu of avr ?
Why is the TV so ridiculously high?? It's like 2 inches from the ceiling, and even more weird, many feet from everything else with a crazy off-centered wire bundle exaggerating the mile of distance. TVs are supposed to be at eye level. That's a really noob way to mount your TV. At least buy a cable channel to hide that shit!
the power rating can be confusing for some the actual 235 Watts RMS they list is considered to be at 4 Ohms then they move up to 6 ohms and finally at 8 ohms is a more realistic number which actually comes out to be a 125 watts consistently by 9 Channels with all channels driven. really what you want to look at here with these receivers is the total amount of distortion and signal-to-noise ratio plus the root mean squared wattage if you look on the back of the receiver it actually states that the power consumption is 1150 watts, when something like the marantz sr 7011 has the exact same onboard amplifier with 125 rms at 8 ohms being the hardest capable speakers to drive although some extremely high end speakers I obtained in the Bonita springs Florida area at barefoot beach condos... at a sound emporium 4 ohm towers but very quiet at even high volumes although they look like they would cost an arm and a leg. my condo consists of 2 4 ohm speakers being driven by the marantz sr 7011 currently although I can't say it is entirely mine, technically the wife's and unfortunately we haven't been able to get out there until mid June to perform a video although they sound worse than the SVS towers in our opinion.
I own the Marantz SR7011, I was wondering if you have had any problems switching between inputs, where the video not coming up right away? I have tried changing out HDMI cables, but still having the issue. I think it may be the HDCP 2.2 hand shake.
Ashi Khan really... you know what I would do, contact marantz and tell therm, they might swap it out for a new one. Try a factory reset. Other than that I have had the problem one time maybe but switching it off then back on makes that stop.
Otto Biltres I would definitely get the 7011. The new 8000 series has auro 3D surround modes included in them for no charge. I feel the marantz have the best on screen displays of a receiver. Plus also 11.2 pre out options for adding a power amplifier.
DaGame get the marantz sr7011 you cannot go wrong with it, perfect for video pass-through and upscaling to 4K and also exceptional audio quality with one of the highest quality certified digital and analog amplifiers on board
Yes It will do 3 different zones and has 3 separate hdmi video and audio outputs. I have not found a link yet but I can do a video on how to set up the different zones and hdmi outputs. What are you wanting to know exactly? How to setup the receiver in the menu?

Can someone tell me if you can use wide speakers with Neural x with this receiver or only with Audyssey?

I have the SR7012 & love it. Going to run a 7.2.4 on it when I move to my new place with PSB X2T towers and a PSB imagine XC center.
