You know, for an absurd plot that Sonic apparently made up, Sonic handles it well enough for it to be enjoyable. But I nearly snickered when he was dubber "Knight of the Wind".
Sonic's final words to Melina at the end are probably the most real in any Sonic game period. Lines he says that are connected both to the game..and everyone's life here. There's an end at some point..we just gotta live life to the fullest until that end comes. Take notes other franchises.. can't get more real than that.

She was in danger, as far as I can tell. She only became super powerful once Sonic beat three Knights of the Round Table, defeated "Arthur," then gave her the scabbard.
Now, THIS is the writing I want back in a Sonic game. I don’t want bad jokes about the villain being bald with a mustache, I don’t want Sonic *DYING,* I don’t want Sonic rescuing a princess 4 times in the same story, all for the same reasons, I don’t want a dark and moody story where a black hedgehog shoots guns, swears, fights aliens, none of that. This is the writing I want in a Sonic game. A story that can be a little humorous at some points, and be a little serious at other points and still maintain a good balance of the action Sonic is known for. The writers of this game are (in my opinion) the best writers Sonic Team has had. I miss when Sonic games could actually be serious and not have Sonic die and make a red Echidna a serious war general. This here, ladies and gentlemen, is a good Sonic The Hedgehog story. These are the writers I would suggest be the next writers for the 30th Anniversary of our beloved blue hero’s next grand adventure.

This Sonic game is sooooo badly underrated. In my opinion it is a game worth playing. The story, the voicing and the music go so well with each other. I heard that the wii remotes are the reason to its biggest letdown when it came to this game but tbh I never really had much a problem, ofc with a bit practice you'll get better.
I miss Sonic's old voice and when the characters played a role in the games and when some of them won't stupid and one of them (cough cough) being knuckles.
I keep coming back to these cutscenes because it's my favorite interpetation of Sonic in the whole series. I keep coming back to these cutscenes because it's my favorite interpetation of Sonic in the whole series. Everything here is nailed to perfection and this game deserves a remake because of it, just maybe fix Sonic being sluggish at times and this would genuinely be one of the best Sonic games imo. Who cares if Sonic has a sword, it's RAW asf
