Hello everyone. I hope all of you are doing great and taking care of yourselves.

- The premolars can usually have one or two canals. If there is one canal (as was here) it will placed in the centre, if there are two canals, then one will be palatal and the other will be buccal.
- Chamber opening of the premolar were already done prior to making of this video.
- There are couple of systems of rotary endodontics. One of the most popular one is ProTaper system.
- The ProTaper system has six file system. SX, S1, S2, F1, F2, F3. Each of the file has a distinct color coding and a distinct role it has to accomplish in the cleaning and shaping of the canal.
- Out of these SX file essentially has the role to widen the orifice. It plays little role in shaving of the dentine and giving a tapering shape to the canal.
- The shaper files (S1 and S2) accomplish that goal of giving a taper to the canal.
- And finally the finisher files (F1, F2, F3) do the job of finishing the canals taper.
Since these are my starting videos, so I am trying to figure out a lot of things., but that is without any voice over. In my future videos, I will be showing more detailed guide on endodontics as well as other clinical skills.
