- Robin calls the Quartermaines. AJ answers the phone and Robin asks him to meet her on the docks, right away. AJ looks surprised, but agrees.
Alone, Jason is talking to Michael about Robin leaving and saying that he doesn't understand why. He picks Michael up and holds him and promises to always stay with him.
I still can't believe that she did it like this.

Jason didn’t want him around the quartermaines but yet he grew up and went to work for them
I never use all caps, but…ROBIN WAITED UNTIL AFTER JNR BROKE UP, WHICH WAS OVER A YEAR AFTER SHE FOUND OUT, TO TELL AJ THE TRUTH. Robin told AJ because she couldn’t have the family that she wanted, which she had stolen while Carly was in shadybrooke and Ferncliff, so she didn’t want Carly to have it either. This “AJ had a right to know” nonsense was a cover for her jealousy. If the ring that Jason had given Robin was an engagement ring and JnR had gotten married, Robin would have kept her mouth shut, for the rest of her life. She didn’t think that Patrick “had a right to know” with her own daughter, Emma. That’s how you know this is crap.
Carly didn't manipulate hin...he WANTED michael to be his son!
And Carly took Michael away from Jason just like Robin said she would do

it was never a choice between Robin and Carly for Jason.... he had to Choose b/t Robin and his Son... of course, he choose Michael... and Carly was a packaged deal with his son BECAUSE Jason would never keep a mother away from her child. Never.

He chose Michael out of a lie and because he was SURE the Q's would ruin Michael. Like who the hell was he to decide Michael would be ruined by the Q's considering the baby had a crazy, nasty, lying mother like Carly. But somehow, he liked Carly, even though she LIED all the time and was mean to Robin and others and questioned Jason's loyalty to and feelings for Michael. It made no sense re: his character of '96 and early '97, and the Michael story line ruined my good feelings toward his (Jason's) character.
Robin's character is the Voice of Reason, tell the Truth and Be Loving. She was right . . . and in 2005 Jason said just that to her after Michael was convicted of killing Claudia. . .
All of them probably think what they did is pointless now. Since Michael lives at the Quartermaine mansion, is the CEO of ELQ and acts like Jason Quartermaine now.

Odd how Jason always tell Michael that 'Carly' will do this or 'Carly' will be here etc.. When Jason is speaking to Micheal about Carly he should refer to Carly as 'your mom' will be here, 'your mom' is thinking of you, ' your mom' said to tell you she loves you. Jason puts distance between that kid and Carly without even trying.
Robin did the right thing. Jason, years later, now even agrees. Carly is a totally selfish con artist. Tge fact that she is always so unapologetic makes her even worse. She needs committed to Ferncliff or Shadybrooke permanently. I hate that the writers made Jason and Carly so called , "best friends". GAG....

Forget the conscience and the “ right thing” nonsense. Those were just back up excuses when Jason did not buy her first excuse. When Jason confronted her, she claimed she did it to protect Jason from Carly’s manipulation.
That she would someday tell the truth herself. He knew Carly could never manipulate him with that because he knew how terrified she was of AJ finding out.
He knew that was the one thing she would never do, no matter what she might say..
And isn’t it interesting that she went straight to AJ from the big blow up with Carly. Didn’t even tell Jason what she was going to do.

Robin told for one reason. She saw a chance to get rid of Carly out of Jason’s life and if it meant he lost Michael as well, Robin could live with that.
She thought if AJ took Michael, Jason would get rid of Carly because she thought he only cared about Carly as Michael’s mother.
And she was naive enough to think AJ would share custody.
AJ made it plain at Michael’s baptism that if the baby had been his, he would have gone for sole custody and Carly would have been out. He said that to Robin at least one other time. She knew the level of resentment AJ had for Jason.
Or maybe she just did not care at that moment.
Years later Jason told her she did the right thing, but I think he was wrong. The least she should have done was to tell him what she planned to do. But she did not have a plan. She acted out of anger and spite against Carly.To do it the way she did was unforgivable.
rhon715 Actually Carly is the one who does acknowledgemher mistakes and apologizes. I don’t think I have ever heard Robin apologize for anything.
Carly not only ruined Bobbies marriage, destroyed Tony, AJ and eventually Jason when she went to the Quartermaine's. Then she did it all over w Jax. Glad Michael and AJ bonded before he died. Jason and Carly pushed Robin to do this, they broke her down and she became desperate. We know this from the conversation she had with Jax before this happened.
@@Lilith2002-j3v Tony ruined his and Bobbie's marriage! He could've told Carly to get lost, he was married, but he didn't. And Robin was far from broken, she did what she did out of pure jealousy, because she thought everyone would kiss her ass because she told the truth, but AJ, Jason and Sonny all turned their backs on her.
