Exploring the town of Kalabaka and Kastraki in Greece

Kalabaka is a town and seat of the municipality of Meteora in the Trikala regional unit, part of Thessaly in Greece.
It is of Turkish origin and means "powerful fortress". It has been Anglicized variously as Kalampaka, Kalambaka or Kalabaki.
Kalambaka is well known all over the world due to the legendary monasteries built atop Meteora rocks, situated near the eastern and northern part of the settlement.
Kastraki is a village in Kalabaka municipality, Trikala, Thessaly, Greece. It is located just northwest, within walking distance, of the main town of Kalabaka.
Kastraki (meaning 'small castle') is a small, peaceful village that from afar looks like an eagle's nest at the bottom of the gigantic rocks of Meteora.

Hi dear it's sad that you lost some your luggage 🧳,, but in white you looks so good.. nice place that you visiting and black mountains .. wow I saw that type of black colour mountains in saudia Arabia.. stay blessed and enjoy dear friends❤
Nice, quaint little town softly nestled beneath those ancient looking mountains.
Seems as though they have most everything one wiuld need there.The shops and eateries you passed while walki g the town streets looked inviting as well.

The luggage has been delivered to our home in Norway and the insurance reimbursed everything we bought during our trip - clothes, shoes, toiletries, perfume, new luggage. At the end we’re happy 🥰👍
