Loved this one! Was I the friend where deer eat my garden?
Yep
Very very cool. I think the last time we were in Nara was pre-kids, so more than 12 years ago. Back then we were pretty clueless and had no idea the deer bowed. They did take maps from back pockets and eat them though. 🤣We did take the kids to see the deer on Miyajima Island near Hiroshima about 7 years ago, but those deer didn't bow either. They stole a bag or rubbish we had hanging from the pram 😂 We were in Kyoto last in April 2019. Super crowded but still fabulous. Your experience with small mum and pop restaurants matched ours. Very welcoming and friendly and they loved kids. Looking forward to seeing your experience at Arashiyama.
Thank you! That’s so funny. Deer will eat almost anything. We live in a neighbourhood in Canada where the deer walk the streets now. So ironic. I hope to have part 2 out soon.
@@ADVENTURECAMPitelli Walk the streets or own the streets? 😂 This week we had an incident where a deer broke into an inner city suburban home here in Melbourne and terrorised the residents before running off. Apparently we have a huge feral deer problem. Not bad for a country where you should be more likely to be beaten up by a kangaroo. 😂
Every animal in Australia is next level crazy 😜
What dates did you go? I see that you are very warm with many clothes. I will go the second half of March, but I don't know how cold it is
We went in February, yes March is probably better
