Spot on. I try my best to relay information to my loved ones but I just can’t. It stresses everyone out. God help us all.

I went through this and can really only talk to others who have experienced this, no one really understands, and I hated being treated as a drug addict and I knew more about getting off this drug than most doctors, and thanks to the support blogs that got me through. I have talked to medical professionals about this every chance I get.

    D. I tell you that.. I'm still going through this alone, I told my family that I'm tapering off the stuff. No understanding.. Nothing whatsoever.. It's okay. I have God on my side.. That's all I need. Lots of love. 🕊️💞

I wish I had seen this video 3 years ago during and after my taper. Nobody in my family believed my suffering, and the only thing I tried that got through to them was to tell them that I didn't care if they believe me or not. I ignored them until they stopped denying it which took over 2 years. I told them I'm not putting up with their denials. I'm still not 100% okay, but I'm at the point where I'm ready to get back into life now.

I assume your family is what put you on the path to taking benzos.. Mine did. My mother is a classic overbearing narcissist and my girlfriend was.. well, a psycho. They were fighting for position to be my top abuser. I finally had a breakdown. 9 yrs on Klonopin. Then cold turkey. Girlfriend left, but mother is still at it. Dr.s are useless. Mental health won't see me anymore because I'm not taking meds. ??? 😡

I and my older son are loved ones tapering my younger son off of the drugs and he is down to a small amount but it is getting so hard now for all of us. No support/help...no encouragement from medical as would be the case anywhere. Psych Dr, nothing...we try to understand my younger son but can only love, care, and try to understand as mentioned. Seeing him go thru what he is going thru is sad...thank you for sharing.

Wish I had seen this when it came out in June 2021 before things went downhill. I had just started my PRN prescription. This would’ve caused me to try coming off immediately. Nobody conveyed the risks, not my doctor or the pharmacy. Thank you for this video, D. Really good information.

The Ashton Manual converts 1mg Xan to 20mg Diaz (Val), but in my country and the Netherlands officials claim it's nog 1:20, but 1:10. So 1mg Xan equals 10mg Diaz. That's a HUGE difference when tappering.

I was afraid to smoke it back 10 years ago while I was going through it) I had smoked in the 1970’s. I smoke now and I really feel cannabis ( especially indica for the horrible insomnia I had) could have helped immensely. It’s good for the brain and relaxes your body.
