    The Pard FD1 does NOT calculate ballistics when used as a clip-on. I also will add that at 50 yards in broad daylight, I could not resolve/see the rings on my paper target nor pellet holes. $650 paperweight.

      @barbajaga Hi, the German dealers are supplied by Poland. They have a technical team headed by Krystian. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. If it was me I would contact him and see if there might be a known issue. The UK is slightly different as it has to pass British Standard testing. If you need help making contact with them I'll see if I can help. I still have some contacts.

    I received my FD1 today (I'm in Connecticut USA). The instructions are completely inadequate and there are NO videos that show you a) what to expect and b) step by set setup and mounting and use with an optical scope as a clip-on. I will have to make a video my self on these points as I have to first figure things out on my own.
    I was also disappointed at the screen resolution in daytime color mode. I was looking at a target at 50 yards and it couldn't resolve the target rings themselves nor the pellet holes.
    As a clip-on, it does not have the ballistic calc and new aim point. I just threw-out my $650 for this scope. Useless to me. That is never disclosed by Pard or dealers.
    I haven't shot with it yet because I still have MANY questions.
    Pard make great products but HORRIBLE customer support and resources for customers.
    I also have a NV008SLRF and DS35-70LRF.

      @@RealAirgunAdventures cool. Looking forward to it 😁. Do you think it’s better than the pard 007v?.

    • @RealAirgunAdventures
      @RealAirgunAdventures  4 месяца назад +1

      @Jimma_87 Yes, from the point of view of eye relief. Otherwise is much like the 007sp.

      @@RealAirgunAdventures thanks. I’m in the market for a pard clip on but not sure which one to buy 😩😂.

      @Jimma_87 I think it comes down to what you shoot and how much night shooting you do. I still use a 007a, and it never misses a beat. It is a pain when I switch back to daytime, though. If I was buying a new one tomorrow I'd probably grab a 007v. It's tried and tested, well proven, and great value for money. Reliable too.

    Get rid of the laser range finder and add thermal to it. Then sell it as a handheld multispectra monocular. I'll buy it.

      There is one of those, already in the shops. In fact, it's been available since February.

      Are you talking about their T series? That's good for mounting on a rifle but not a compact unit to use as a handheld monocular.

    • @RealAirgunAdventures
      @RealAirgunAdventures  4 месяца назад

      @malin7919 in that case you could wait for the Landsat compact. Should launch here around June / July. I think that will fit the bill.

    • @malin7919
      @malin7919 4 месяца назад +1

      @@RealAirgunAdventures
      Ok, I found more info on their site about Landsat but it appears laser range finder is included as well. That makes it bulky, heavy and add price to it. It seems like they are only catering to shooters. For border security application, for example, laser range finder is unnecessary. Thermal for spotting and optical scope for ID.
