This lift gives off such a 60s vibe. Amazing video!

Can’t believe this is still original. I rode it many years ago when my son was born here (I was trying to get back to the maternity building without going outside, it was raining hard).

      Ah, nice!
Yeah, it’s nice that these are still going!
Even some of the main lifts are still Express with original buttons and indicators. I guess it’s just a ‘budget thing’, and they’re reluctant to spend any money on them unless they absolutely have to!
I noticed a lot of the arrow lanterns are upside down. I went around with my tool flipping them over lol!

@@Lift.Tracker I can remember the main lifts in both buildings when they were original in the late 80s/early 90s. Also the two North lifts in the main building, these were always quiet. These were my favourite lifts when I was young.

@@leethomas84 I’m not sure exactly how many lifts there are in the Hospital. I may need to go back there and have another proper look at what’s around in there.
In one of the main buildings, I found 2 sets of 2 lifts in a bank of 4 facing opposite each other.
2 were modernised with Lester Controls, and the other 2 were some weird variant of 70s Express Lifts with a 90s Express modernisation with various other strange alterations.
Are there any more main lifts besides these ones?
And there was also the 3 old 70s ones round the back of the hospital which I filmed in this video.

Awesome bouncy leveling! That's in my list now, cheers mate.

The levelling is one of the hardest crashes I’ve ever experienced lol!
Normally the lift will ‘skate’ a little bit after the brake is applied, but this one is an instant ‘clamp’.
If you ever come here some time, there’s a few other Express Lifts around as well and I’ll upload the others in the coming weeks.
Let me know if you need any help finding the lifts nearer the time. They aren’t so easy to find!
      :-)

Not for this one unfortunately. The other parts will be more old lifts around the hospital!
      :-)

@@Lift.Tracker I see. Anyway, as we are already talking here. I in any future, you will visit relay-based express lift, then i would be very grateful if you will take photos of the wiring diagrams. I'm very curious how British elevators controllers are designed, in comparison to Polish ones, which i know well.
Thank you in advance, and keep going with channel!

      @ Thanks!

No worries, I’ll make sure to do that next time!
I’ve got a brief clip featuring a wiring diagram here: ruclips.net/video/dr-k61ybXGk/видео.html
But it isn’t very visible I’m afraid.
