This is 12yrs old now have you been back..... Not sure where the first couple of stations were. I think maybe Western line Swanson which can't be right because the train stopped going to Waitakere Rd long before 2012..... The Western Line went to Helensville in the 70's and before that the service was mixed traffic from Henderson to Helensville. It would be nice to see the train going up to Helensville again. From memory there was talk about the Waitakere Tunnel not being large enough for purpose???
The worlds fastest electrification project to make our city growth boost only took a year to wire up 150km overhead wires were installed quick as a result Timeline 2013 to 2014 across The Auckland Network now we have new electric trains. Goodbye old trains rest in peace. 20/07/15
need more trains and loud electric trains and more trains going to pukekohe more offtern and old trains on time without waiting an hour if running right it has same work done as a car but more with out getting stuck
Nice view at what Auckland was before electrification, I moved to Auckland after electrification so don't know what it was like first hand.
