I have the same calculator, but the “latin american” version: FX-991 LA-CW. The math box brings two more options: “number line” and “circle”.
Yes, it's also the case with the fx-83GTCW and fx-85GTCW models here in the UK

What is the spot behind the back of the calculator?
That's from the injection molding machine. It's where the plastic goes into the mold.
is there any alternative calculator like Casio 991Ex? I have 991CW, didn't get used to with that. can you recommend similar functionality and user friendly calculator from any other brands?
I haven’t really fully explored Sharp. I am not sure if they have a recent model. There was the TI 30 and 36 models but they don’t usually sell to well in Europe. Other than that no, sorry

Feature-wise seems to be the same as its predecessor, the FX-991EX, so if you don't mind saving a bit, then go with the predecessor, or if you like the newer design, go with the CW.
