I love everything with Will Friedle! I grew up with his voice. Hell, I haven’t seen My Date With The Presidents Daughter since I was a kid and I still remember it almost beginning to end.
But as Terry McGuinness, absolute chefs kiss. Wills voice acting in Batman Beyond was incredible and to play the next incarnation of the caped crusader ALONGSIDE the late great Kevin Conroy…it’s just amazing.
Thank all of you sirs for making our childhoods great.

I got to work a convention in McAllen, TX with the Lawrence Brothers. Great dudes! They said hi to me and high-fived me backstage multiple times. Really cool dudes! Will was there a couple of years before (or the year after) Also a really genuine dude.

Boy Meets World was hands down my favorite show growing up. Absolutely loved it!! So glad you all had Will on the podcast. Also have to say I’m 33 so I grew up watching the Andy Lawrence movies on Disney. Horse Sense was my favorite!! I recently rewatched it on Disney plus.

I just rewatched Brotherly Love for the first time in years, and forgot how much I loved it as a kid. It's just as good today, as it was then. Same with BMW.
So glad you finally breached the one hour, and had a longer episode! Hope you'll have more. It's fun to watch when you get super engaged in the convo, and also to learn about the business side of the industry.
Show idea. Curb your enthusiasm style show with these four. First episode: Matt writes a movie quote on Wills's bathroom quote wall. The next time Matt goes to his house the quote was painted over. I want a scene, a writers credit, and a whoa hat.
Will was reason why I watched Boy Meets World.
Will and Matt's characters were the main reason I watched Boy Meets World. I loved their comedy and their relationship. And they are all exactly right that there are no sitcoms on network primetime TV anymore. I still watch reruns of all the real sitcoms from I Love Lucy to Golden Girls to Fraiser to Will & Grace to the Big Bang Theory to Mike and Molly to Mom and many shows in between. What tries to pass a sitcoms today are poorly written and aren't family shows.
You guys are spot on with bringing back the family sitcoms! Disney pay attention!

Idk if will is being modest or if he truly doesnt know but him and the rest of the boy meets wirld cast were superstars too! That was by far my favorite and millions of others favorite show on tgif! Every single week that was the one show on friday night i couldnt wait for. Kinda breaks my heart a little if they didnt know how truly loved their show was while it was airing. Its def even more loved now because of streaming but make no mistake BMW was HUGE!!
This is by far my favorite pod you guys have done. And I’m down for you guys writing and producing new family comedies.
As for the whole "people look younger now than in the past", I think a lot of that just comes down to our perception of what old looks like based on styles. The Golden Girls look like grannies because of the sweaters and permed hair. Things we associate with our grandmas. But I bet if you were to put a more modern hairstyle and clothes they would look their age. (Which was in their 50s on the show).

Eric Matthews was the best character on Boy Meets World and I will stand by that for life.
Love this! Ok watching Boy meets world as a kid, I liked a few characters more than others but no favourites. Rewatched the show as an adult and Eric Matthews (or Mr.Plays With Squirrels) is hands down the best and my Favourite character !! Love your work Will! Thank you !
Im so glad he accepted the role of Terry McGinnis in Batman Beyond. Other than jump starting his animated voice over career it made me see him in a more serious light and showed me how deep and versatile his acting is.

I was in middle school like 8th grade I believe bc I’m right between Matt & Andy’s Age being born in 84 & BMW & Step by Step were my 2 favorite TGIF shows & Will is just awesome as a human being & hilarious and been following pod meets world and sadly I found this/your channel like 9 months ago or a year idk but completely forgot and then this just popped up on my RUclips 😂

That’s so crazy! You guys really didn’t know when the cast members were leaving and never got to say goodbye to anyone? Idk why I’m surprised because all my experiences working for Disney were less than magical but I always thought that actors such as yourselves got special treatment in regards to those sorts of things.
My daughter is 13 and since she was little she always said she didn't like shows with fake laughing. So funny, but so true.

I don’t know how many cameras Abbott Elementary shoots with but one of the reasons it exists is because Quinta Brunson saw that quality family programming was missing and she wanted to fill the gap. She would fit so well into that portion of the conversation.

Really great episode. Loved the energy so much. I'm not saying this is the case 100% of the time, but I've worked with many creatives on a very small scale in my past for many years. I found the problem with creatives is that they do really great brainstorming and have little to no follow through, so nothing ever gets accomplished. That's why most creatives who are successful have someone they partner with who has a business mindset and drives the ideas to the finish line. You need someone who can use your connections to help you push your ideas into real actions😅 with organization, strategy, and follow through. We all want the 30 minute family shows to come back. Now, please find someone who can organize you all so you can finalize the ideas into a plan and pitch the concept. I mean, so many good ideas have been thought of over your many episodes. I'm like, just get it done already! 😊 I've not had any level of experience that all of you have had, but I know just enough of how to organize and get things done that I can seriously see the potential so clearly here. I really think you could make this work.
The idea of a new TGIF is what I've been trying to find, except more so with anime and what Cartoon Network did with Toonami. I'm so tired of binge watching shows and having it all blend together without anyone to share it with. I want a power block of shows that I don't have to go out of my way to pick out or add to a streaming queue.
