Kathie says…when I am on my death bed and not responding to anyone…listening to this is what I want to hear. I find it light, cheerful, and comforting, and so full of happy memories!
Geez, I wish they could have separated them a bit and identified them by year. I was listening from basically 1963 to 1974, and I don't remember most of these. Of course, I was also listening to Super 'CFL. Whenever there was a song that I didn't like or a string of commercials, I would move the radio dial to the other station. Probably by plan, though, most of the commercial timing seemed to align. Still, I'd try: WLS-WCFL-WLS-WCFL and eventually the music would return. Toward the end, there was also WIND ("Music from the '50s, '60s, and Now").
At 7:18 it said in this tone. (Rockin from Metro Manila WLS FM ) WLS FM was part of GMA 7 Philippines. Now it's changed to Barangay LS 97.1 Forever
