Jackson Browne and Dan Fogelberg were two of the greatest poet-musicians! Every song was beautiful and profound and full of great meaning that one could apply to one's own life! Peace, BobbyK
Dude, Jackson got lots of love and still gets plenty. This guy is one who did it all on his own terms and rode the bus to the top of the pile. In the late 70's and 80's, he was at the top of the charts. He was then and is still my idol. Truth is, everytime I pick up my guitar and sing in public I am pretending that I am JB. Long live the man.
Nobody writes songs like Jackson Browne the man is just a down right genius when it comes to music. I been a fan of JB since since 1970 he just wrote music that was way ahead of his time I loved it then and I love it now and I think Everyman agrees
Even at 67 he still puts on a great show, and has that wonderful voice that makes you feel like you are revisiting a trusted, kindred friend. Thanks for decades of some of the best music.
I saw him this past March at the Palais in St Kilda and it was probably the best show I've seen of his. I'm seeing him at the Greek in August. Can't tell you how much happiness that fills me with.
My mother told me once, two decades ago, that she always wanted to write Jackson Browne and just tell him thank you for being her friend..... I was a teenager in the 90's and Dimebag was my hero, my idol, the reason I picked up a guitar. After life kicked me around a bit I've let go of my angst, and have also found a friend in this wordsmith. Thank you Mr. Browne. From three generations, we thank you..... (My grandfather was also a fan)
This slender young man comes onto the stage and sings a song that is so deep and powerful in a pure voice that turns the song into a masterpiece. Love you, JB!
I too was so impressed by the way this young man who walked out onto the stage alone with only his guitar with such a presence and command of the song. At the end the camera pans to the audience which turns out to be fairly large. Checking his age, if recall correctly he was actually around 36. But still, quite a feat : a master with the command of the stage.
"Don’t ask me, if he'll show… maybe. I don’t know." Reminds me of Dylan's powerful "how many times will a man turn his head… the answer my friend, is blowing in the wind."
Jackson could see things that no one else saw, think things no one else thought, say things no one else was saying. That's at least part of the definition of genius.
I'm seeing Jackson Browne with my husband for the second time together at the Hartford health Care center on September 1st, 2023. I would love to hear this song, but I'm not sure what they're supposed to be singing that night but any songs are good 🎉🎉❤
Not sure bout all that, but going back to his Zappa days and the Feat shows, Lowell could give anybody a run.. his soul was magnificent. His musical story telling, not sure what ur looking for but waiting for Columbus is a Masterpiece

Jackson Browne changed my life! I'm 65 now but I heard him the first time when I was 17 after getting married at 14 and finally running away to New Orleans to start living my own real life. He has always said what I feel about humanity and I've tried to instill that into my children's life! I love his music and hopefully he still lives his life like his music.

It's hard to choose a favorite. At one point i picked his entire 1st album, b/c it was great and it introduced me to his music.
