Suspension is stiff because the swingarm bolts are too tight from factory, just a quarter turn of the bolt and frees it up. Also traction is way better with the Back end in Mid-low setting adjustment. Enjoy the ride, cant wait to see your review!
I still like the way the Thunder looks better. I also heard the Storm has problems with the controllers which is probably why they are coming up with the Storm Limited so soon.
Breathtaking prices also!!! Lol… It is worth it incredible shocks and the motors are top notch , brakes stop on a dime !! It’s basically the CADILLAC of SCOOTERS
i recommend to everyone here that when you do your wheelie be very careful. i had a fall and broke my back. by having more acceleration in electric motors obviously it responds faster and i confused the throttle trigger with the brake trigger. in this video i saw something similar in the image of the last wheelie. i think it got up more than he expected.
Correct you are! I looped that wheelie, tried to run it out and ended up on the ground. Good point. We should put a reminder in there, not to try it! -Paul
Hello, very nice video !!! Can I use excerpts from the video (without sound) to illustrate what I'm saying in my video? This is for a french presentation video. Thank you for your reply. Yours sincerely 😉
If you guys have a second battery and time to do a range test. It would be cool to see someone take a battery out of their backpack and head back to where they started.
We actually do have a second battery on hand, I've been trying to think of where to go! I'm tempted to ride it home to San Francisco from Berkeley the long way (around the top or bottom of the bay) since there is no way to ride a scooter directly across the Bay Bridge. I don't think we're going to have time to do it before the review comes out, so we may just have to speculate on where it could go! I'd love to strap 3 or 4 batterys to the thing! -Paul
Am I the only one that hates that everywhere you put your eyes you see DUALTRON MINIMOTORS? Is the only thing i hate about them. Would be incredible nice if that would be optional.
We noticed this on the Eagle Pro. It's exactly like what BMW does. It's friggin everywhere. I'd like it if they toned it down a bit. But then everything about Minimotors scooters is a little over the top (the lights, throttle response etc.) -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide yep, is a love & hate thing what happens to me with them. Great scooters but if you live in a third world country like myself you don't like an scooter shouting I COST $4400USD IN BLACK ARIAL 36

With that big of a deck why would you put your feet dead in the center where the battery handle is? They had to put the ports there because the battery is removable.
@@danny-FL I've been riding my DT Ultra for 3 years now. My front foot is always up there. It helps to put weight on the front end and combined with 760 mm Race Face Chester bars I have no issues with stability at higher speeds. No damper needed👍✌
Definitely more of an issue for thos who stand left foot forward. I stand right foot forward and it still took a little getting used to. Since the battery is removable, this is probably the only place that makes sense to put them. It would have been cool if they were recessed into the deck though. -Paul

Yaaasssss!! Easily my most anticipated review! Can't wait for the full!
Great video I love the look of the storm what an amazing scooter I would love to get one. Well done dualtron 👏👏👏
Thanks for the feedback! It's a beast, for sure. Any scooter you want to see it matched up against in another video? - Trina

Yes over heating n shutting the scooter down. I know first hand but great svc from mm.
I own a storm is 2 weeks old now done 270 miles no issue.
Over 1K Miles, given it hell and back, no issues here!
I drove 3000 km without any problems
My most anticipated review……..❤️👍

Only issue is how loud the motors are and no headlight. Other than that, I love it.
@@AkronKid330 What do the motors make a winding sound???
@@brianmck7363 yes they are really loud.
Looking forward to another great review.

When I saw that clip in the video I thought the rate of rotation looked quite high to the point of "Oh No" 0:27

@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide LOL such a great problem to have! Stacking 4 batteries will give you a comfy seat as you travel.
You dont really want that battery in your back trust me, no feather
I wish ESG would reinstate the coupon code for the Zero 9.
Sorry Perry, I don't have a coupon code, but the Apollo City is $50 less than the Zero 9. -Paul
