Another fantastic review, very in depth. The board looks great and huge it will require lots of real estate but the game play sounds very intriguing. We'll be adding this to our collection. :)
It really looks just as good as you make it sound. I liked your opening sequence and how you showed off the game with the scrolling camera as you talked about it. I love when a game's setting and theme are complimented by the way it plays. You know you have a good game when time flies by faster than you think. I used to look up from Arkham Horror after an hour of play only to realize 3 hours had passed. And I guess we could say this game is action packed. ;)

Do you have access to the Hippocrates board game? That one landed on my list at the same time as Stroganov. It looks pretty good as well! I didn't have the patients to think of a clever pun this time, though.
I came here expecting beef stew! It's an interesting historical era, a lot like "how the west was won" in America, that we in the anglosphere world aren't that aware of.

I'd much rather tell you what the game is about and let you rate it rather than just trust a number I gave you. But I agree sometimes numbers are nice! And yeah what's the point in reviewing things if you're not going to be honest I guess :D

Been hearing the production quality is not the best. What are your thoughts?
I have the retail version and I think it's pretty good. It won't make you go wow or anything but it's all solid and sturdy pieces I think!
