i went to a race in dubai and seems like it was everyone’s first time karting because there were always two or more people spun out on every single corner. it was like tryna drive through a land mine. and whenever i’m on a fast corner they just turn in and brake unnecessarily

i always let the fast people pass over a year ago i was one of the faster people at my local track and this damn 12 or 13 year old competitive dink was getting so pissed that i lapped him twice and on the 2nd last lap he rammed me into the wall out of rage and it NO JOKE KILLED THE BIG BLOCK HONDA LIKE HE RAMMED RIGHT INTO IT and it broke the flywheel but when we both slammed into the wall the connecting rod was thrown . and yea he was was all swearing saying that i cant lap people like broooooo but Ill never forget the look on the staff and the kids parents when they saw that their 1600$ HONDA GX390 was destroyed.
I mean this is expected when you go to a local indoor track and people are mostly there just to have fun and it's most people's first times driving karts. On another note though, I think you're losing too much time trying to be too fast. Scrubbing a lot of speed in corners. Using the brake to turn the Kart is very very useful!
Don't let off the gas when they cut you off. You are far enough inside to drive by them. I would have been by them on the first lap.
I went to this k1 the other day. I got a lap time of 22.776. Remember, this k1 is only hot laps. You don’t need to aggressively pass these people.
