Oh,yeah,Oolong has the aroma of legend. Oolong means black dragon,which I love,because the leaves do indeed look like a serpentine dragon flying across the sky. Regarding seasoning a teapot,just boil it to get rid of the clay dust and whatnot,no need to waste tea by boiling a dedicated tea in it. Why? Because it’s dedicated to that tea,it gets seasoned by brewing just that tea anyway! You just seasoned your Oolong,it’s good to go.
I just finished a session with this same tea. Such an amazing scent and flavor. All of the ones in the tea club package were exquisite - hard to choose a favorite, but I'm leaning towards this one.
