      It really is a pity the throat-cancer like voice they use to... make it more interesting? Silly. The subjects of this show are fantastic and they could use a much more calm voice. I'm not asking for Morgan Freeman, although I wouldn't complain.

      You may already know this, the ship and the plane are named after the epic hero of ancient Russian folklore, who had a real prototype.

    BTW.
    2:30 on the left side of video you can see a floating nuclear powerplant "Academic Lomonosov" under construction. Now it done and worked.
    13:51 + two nuclear icebreaker Project 22220, ЛК-60Я type under construction. First of their, named "Arctica" is done and worked now. It most powerful than Ilya Muromets.

      If anything, the nuclear icebreakers are more interesting than Ilya Muromets. Arktika is also operating as an icebreaking cargo ship, the first of its kind.

    If I remember well Muromets was also name of the first bomber airplane in history? Made by Sikorsky before he fled to USA...

      Yes, but initially Ilya Muromets is a legendary hero (warrior), originally from the city of Murom from Russian fairy tales.

      There was also very famous blinded train (bronepoyezd "Ilia Muromets"). It was built on 1941-42 and opearate against nazis till the end of War (at the day of the capitulation of nazists it was 50kms out of Berlin, and cannot reach to city because of the blasted bridge on the Oder river)

    I suggest change the english voice, it sounds too coarse, like the person is giving military commands and not actually reporting.
    Other than that the theme was quite interesting. You should also add how ice breaker works, how they break such thick ice.
    I saw somewhere that they try to mount on the ice and try to break it via its wt.

    Subtitles are too small plus are white on white snow which makes it hard to read especialy if your eyes are not youngest anymore. Please fix that becouse is interesting documents.

    Need to put these ice breakers to use.
    Could be shipping oil, coal, iron ore to China, Japan and South Korea via the artic route. 1 ice breaker followed by a train of cargo ships would keep cost negligible.

      In any case, this broadcast has a clear target; otherwise... why would they use the Imperial units when the metric system is the one used in Russia and the rest of the world except very developed places like Myanmar, Liberia and... you guessed it: the USA.

    If course people cheer for your success and this ship is Amazing. But this narrator’s fake-macho voice makes this documentary a laughing stock. You can hire even Ksenya Sobchak to narrate this, and there will be no difference. Please, use normal Russian voice.
