It really is a pity the throat-cancer like voice they use to... make it more interesting? Silly. The subjects of this show are fantastic and they could use a much more calm voice. I'm not asking for Morgan Freeman, although I wouldn't complain.
My congratulations to Russia, her Shipbuilders and Naval Architects, and her Scientists and Sailors. Ilya Muromets is a magnificent and innovative vessel. I send you all a sincere and warm Salome. Salome (Live in Peace). Mögest du weiterhin im Frieden, Wahrheit, Liebe, und SEIN der Schöpfung leben.
YES ✊🏻 OOOH MAN, the crazy funny host (and the other staff) have a great job on this Channel! I would love to have such a job, burning, shooting, testing blowing sh*t up, test and record all kind of Military equipment, technology or institutions! 👍🏻 👏🏻 ✊🏻
You may already know this, the ship and the plane are named after the epic hero of ancient Russian folklore, who had a real prototype. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ilya_Muromets
BTW. 2:30 on the left side of video you can see a floating nuclear powerplant "Academic Lomonosov" under construction. Now it done and worked. 13:51 + two nuclear icebreaker Project 22220, ЛК-60Я type under construction. First of their, named "Arctica" is done and worked now. It most powerful than Ilya Muromets.
If anything, the nuclear icebreakers are more interesting than Ilya Muromets. Arktika is also operating as an icebreaking cargo ship, the first of its kind.
They will, I was looking on Telekanal Zvezda (some are on Combat approved RT Documentary), and I was happy when I saw that they have more than 270 episodes 😂😂😂👍🏻 YES! I like Mrs Kalashnikova too, but her episodes are short! 👍🏻
Great name! This was also the name of the *first four-engine bomber aircraft in the world,* designed and built BEFORE World War 1 in Russia, by Russians.
There was also very famous blinded train (bronepoyezd "Ilia Muromets"). It was built on 1941-42 and opearate against nazis till the end of War (at the day of the capitulation of nazists it was 50kms out of Berlin, and cannot reach to city because of the blasted bridge on the Oder river)
I suggest change the english voice, it sounds too coarse, like the person is giving military commands and not actually reporting. Other than that the theme was quite interesting. You should also add how ice breaker works, how they break such thick ice. I saw somewhere that they try to mount on the ice and try to break it via its wt.
Subtitles are too small plus are white on white snow which makes it hard to read especialy if your eyes are not youngest anymore. Please fix that becouse is interesting documents.
Need to put these ice breakers to use. Could be shipping oil, coal, iron ore to China, Japan and South Korea via the artic route. 1 ice breaker followed by a train of cargo ships would keep cost negligible.
Some sciences have developed exclusively thanks to the military. Regarding the study of the Arctic, this is, for example, weather data in the region (the USSR created drifting stations so that strategic aviation would receive data along this route - the shortest to the United States), or bottom mapping (detailed hydroacoustic surveys for use by strategic submarines). A huge amount of research required funding, which would be inappropriate to allocate in such a volume for civilian purposes, only to ensure the country's security.
Hi, I'm from Vietnam, and am a lover of weapons, especially Russian weapons. So I would like to ask your channel for this content so that I can vietsub to let people who love Russian weapons in Vietnam know more. Thanks a lot
Voice over is done by Americans, I guess that's how they wanted it to sound. All American documentaries are like this. Also, they add fake music everywhere. It's very stupid lol
I guess you mean US-American. There are 32 countries in America, ONE of them being the USA. In any case, this broadcast has a clear target; otherwise... why would they use the Imperial units when the metric system is the one used in Russia and the rest of the world except very developed places like Myanmar, Liberia and... you guessed it: the USA.
If course people cheer for your success and this ship is Amazing. But this narrator’s fake-macho voice makes this documentary a laughing stock. You can hire even Ksenya Sobchak to narrate this, and there will be no difference. Please, use normal Russian voice.
The USA aka united snakes military don't have nothing even close to this ice breaker ship 😂 They are 39 years behind and 10 years behind in hypersonic missile technology NATO is doomed 😁

If I remember well Muromets was also name of the first bomber airplane in history? Made by Sikorsky before he fled to USA...
Yes, but initially Ilya Muromets is a legendary hero (warrior), originally from the city of Murom from Russian fairy tales.
Ilya Muromets had a real prototype. Then everything was overgrown with fairy tales.
