Sleep Token Stop Show Dramatically Mid-Set Live

Vessel was battling illness at Sleep Token's headline appearance at OVO Wembley Arena, London. The show was stopped dramatically mid-set as all members of the band left the stage. After much cheering from the crowd and a 'Sleep Token' chant sung by the 10,000 at the sold-out show, Vessel reappeared on stage alongside a crew member who took the microphone. He explained Vessel's illness and said that, although he couldn't carry on singing, the show would go on. The crowd were more than happy to take on the role of lead vocals and, in some ways, it made the show more special with Vessel obviously emotional even from behind a mask. Vessel did go on to sing a good few verses and choruses where he could through to the end of the set with every line he sung greeted with the most supportive and encouraging of cheers, claps and whistles from his devoted followers.
