Cant wait until sora drops, any news on you getting beta access to stable diffusion v3?
@@DragonBallDetroit No news they arent responding to me :(((( WHERE IS SD3??!
There are a few things I will never change and one of them is not paying for an Adobe subscription.
yea, this was a stab in my heart. I Hope DaVinci Resolve adds more useful AI tools. but damn if they didn't make a all in one package.
i wonder if u can just sub this for $20 and still use them infinite try before you buy ones ( photoshop + after fx ) you find on them gun turrent sites?
therell probably be a pirated version of this new version maybe
You won't get AI in the pirated version. It'd be a huge difference.
Also, adobe's image generation has proven to be just as racist as google Gemini! 😮
"your prompt violates the community guidelines"
So true. Their censorship makes it useless
lmao
Anything with the horny.
"stop trying to make porn"
@@brainwithani5693 no >:)
Open source models will also get better and better. Eventually, we will all be able to cancel Adobe's ridiculous subscriptions.
Race to the bottom AI tools will enter the good enough phase then hardly anyone will pay subs. Looking forward to it.
And maybe run it in Kdenlive or DaVinci Resolve?
If you base your value on say $15 per hour, the Adobe complete suite is 5 hours of your time. Adobe saves me way more than 5 hours per month and gives me good results at the same time. I'm not a capitalist, but I'm realistic to what the subscription should give you back. How much time does Adobe save you per month?
My RUclips channel finna look like Netflix soon! 😤😤
The thing about the power box though... YOU only notice the "space" where it was because you know a box has been cropped out. The shot wouldn't last more than 1 or 2 seconds... audiences aren't going to be dissecting your film that much.
also notice, its got a tiny shake, wot about a fast pan? zooms? action shots?
thats true but its still not good for a big budget film
@@apache937 they might hit a ceiling where they realise they cant make it look 100%, Im still not sure if they could do a ballet dancer, or a real complex explosion?
Could be a long way away from that. A lot is so janky, im using pika and runway now and they are useless :(
People would notice something that significant pretty easily but it's probably easier to used that as a base for building that brick texture back in vs having to manually remove the box and the shadows.
Not gonna pick it apart in first viewing anyway
The main thing that bothers me is the AI WATERMARK on it. Fck, even with subscription
There will be an ai that can remove the watermark in the future
you can remove it with AI
Can’t wait until all this allows us to make full films even in 1080 P this paired with LTX studio would be amazing
Confirmation that Sora will have at least some sort of preview feature is huge. It would be even better if we got a low res video preview but just having a choice of images is going to make generating much more reliable. It also doesn't seem like Sora will be walled off from the public if it's being integrated into the Adobe suite, though I suppose that could be vaporware
if you listen to the voiceover, it doesn't actually say they have integrated sora - just that it's possible to bolt on other models "like Sora" as they become available. it's like saying Word "could use" text generated by gpt5. of course it could. just not yet.
4:18 WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😱😵💫 this alone is a game changer for tv production and music videos !!
can’t wait to pay $30 extra on my tv subscription to remove the adobe ai generated ads on every building and clothing in tv shows and movies.
excluding ai generated ads between the ads.
As a stop motion enthusiast, this kind of AI could be a good way to remove rigs from a shot. Davinci Resolve has some object removal tools, but this might be better.
Adobe is kind of killing it low-key
Like tortuga, they may be slow...but they always win.
Not with Figma 🙈🤣
Not really with photoshop. Ai is usless there. At least a year behind open source. Same with firefly, quality is very poor.
@@Bartskol you cant be more wrong my friend ^^
@@eloyaranda8037 true, that acquisation didnt work out :D
If you can't beat them, join them.
It's not hard to get the student subscription rate of $20 for all apps. It's well worth it.
The AI subscription will cost much much more.
It does seem pretty impressive. Although that shot where they add the tie.. I'm assuming they had trouble removing the roadcases at the back, and just gave up.
I totally agree with you. But this is what adobe has been doing for decades. They find a way to buy up the competition so that they can kill it. I've been watching them do this with other programs since '99.
I like how fast Adobe is moving, I don't use any of their products but all their AI stuff seem really good and come early
Ten years ago I used to love Adobe's yearly cutting edge tech displays. It wasn't until AI that they became interesting again.
Using AI as a rendering engine makes much more sense for creatives when it comes to full creation of video or images. You don't want random results. You want to be able to sketch a scene, pose people, direct all the details and then have AI render it in a style that's relevant to the vision. If Adobe can create that software (maybe call it Adobe Creator) then they will be onto something.
So is Sora gonna be available by the end of the year then...
What im sayin’
Fore adobe users
...then do we still need Adobe?
@@MattVidPro Mira Murati already confirmed release this year in a recent interview about Sora.
Ask users of Adobe photoshops generative tools to remove backgrounds and add to or extend backgrounds their opinion of it I use it and sometimes it's miraculous So video is just 24 to 30 plus frames per second All it needs to do is extrapolate the differences over the frames. When it works well it will work excellently and we can expect that capability to get better with time. Modern video compression algorithms actually do a lot of rebuilding of frames They have intra frames which are complete and then they generate backwards and forwards intervening frames restoring based upon the interest rates this is the way the long GOP algorithms in MPEG work. So this is definitely going to be a thing.
I KNEW you'd be right on this . . . another great video, Matt.
Thank u!
By the end of the year we're going to see movies made with this tech
You sure they won’t be paid plugins?
Hi Matt, I really appreciate that you treated these announcement with no mercy, as they should be. I already can see in advance the number of advertising-like shout-out from other RUclipsrs/classic media, saying "Wow the unbelievable new Adobe AI tools!" and so on, while at the moment they aren't at production level at all and, even worst, they seem thought as legacy tools (maybe with the exception of object selection tool) with some fancy neural network inner logic.
I do agree LTX Studio seems crafted for the future.
In 6-12 months it'll be possible to add a generated cast member or throw in a bunch of extras into backgrounds and they'll be completely undetectable.
that was very smart of Adobe
I think this is an interesting evolution, although I hope text-to-video templates have this component themselves. I want to see how much customization they can put into a single tool. And I expect the same from Suno AI, that it can do much more than music and sounds that sound realistic, but that it optimizes the tool to make any sound and to be able to introduce any effect during its use. This is taking AI to another level.
I'm genuinely starting to wonder if these AI video models will ever actually be released to the general public. I wouldn't be surprised if these companies get cold feet and only release them to "enterprise"-style customers (studios and big companies and things like that). OpenAI in particular seems to be nearing a point where they seem to think the general public can't be trusted with their programs any longer.
Oh they will, because of copyright issues and ethical issues like deepfake, false evidence and identity theft.
Yes! The LTX people have the right idea - that's the future! You perfectly articulated my feelings about Adobe.
I have subscriptions on lots of ai image generators BUT it’s all useless for my business unless I can edit them with Photoshop. Being the ‘editing platform’ for ai video, allowing add-ons, is a solid gold move imo.
Nice. Now I can extend the shots of woman and man staring at each other for several more minutes just like in Korean drama so I extend my episodes even more.
I thought that Runway, Pika and Open AI were gonna work with Epic Games and their Unreal Engine before them ever working with Adobe of all people.
Another great banger of a video Matt! I too am a little wary of Adobe cornering the market. I was hoping Openai would disrupt Adobe's business model but, like Microsoft, Adobe is on the ball and are not sleeping. I would not be surprised if they are doing a deal to buy LTX right now. As a matter of fact, you might as well get the scoop by asking LTX if they are in talks to sell (😒). 3 cheers for open source.
The credentials thing is a little strange, I get if something was made with 100% AI, but what if you used a little rotobrush in After Effects for a film? It's technically AI? Does that flag the content as made with AI? It's interesting
Sorry but there's so many things wrong with this particular video IMO. Most of the retouch done by AI were virtually flawless I can't understand what he's talking about. I feel like there's something of a bias within this particular video. Adding on AI to an existing tool set versus AI first development is somewhat of a mute point. You can use the new AI stuff with the pre-built stuff or vice versa either way should work just as well. As a matter of fact building on the an established foundation is going to skyrocket AI like it's doing here with Adobe. Again I think there's something weird and off about this particular one.
Thanks. Great videos your doing.
I used beta adobe firefly and is amazing tool for making photos. I will sub for that new model 😊
Ayee they done clicked up on Elon so crazy!!! This is a ground breaking collaboration!
"Very soon" looks like very soon from Stable Diffusion 3. Because of their preview they just ruined development of Stable Cascade - people are just waiting for SD3 to start training on it.
So OpenAI was supposed to be Open, yet, when they get functioning models, they sell them to Adobe? They will do everything they can to keep the public from access.
hey matt what editor do you use like, davinci resolve? or just descript?
Sony vegas 💀💀💀💀 i dont wanna talk abt it
@@MattVidPro fair enough 🤫
"1, 2, 3 years"
One year is a conservative but relatively reasonable guess. Three years is just silly.
Open ai ☺️ , Closed software 🧐
adobe got their sticky paws all over it :(
Interesting when DaVinci gonna implement same thing
Might never. seems gimmicky and costly.(at least to professional artists and DaVinci resolve management) they might just add small AI products over the next 10 years.
Video Inpainting is the End of traditional VFX
I really don't want the best AI tools to ONLY be behind pay walls.
Get used to it. I'm thinking that more and more, the best AI stuff is going to be pretty tightly locked away from the general public.
I already did all this staff three months ago with DaVinci Resolve using the API I used OpenAI and also, in local, Stable diffusion. Plus autonomous editing based on a topic. Nothing new here.
Those tools seems ok for indies and very small prods, but I don't think the results would go well with my clients for instance (like the removal tool is pretty sloppy if you don't watch a 320p compressed video being watched on a compressed video itself through youtube)
Also more concerning to me is how adobe, so far, was priding itself using only copyrighted materials they had the rights to.. let's be honest, openAI didn't give rats ass about copyright when training the model, so I'm curious to see how adobe will justify this.
Overall I'm more impressed with the new features Davinci resolve 19 brings to the table, despite not being AI for the most part.
I've used firefly a bit, it is pretty mid level for most things imoz
1 year max. Alot of the sora goodness is not so much a better algorithm... but just throwing more compute at the problem.
Jesus fucking christ. This has me simultaneously extremely excited for the future and extremely depressed for human expression in the future.
Yeah that's really "open".
I didn't expect anything but I'm nonetheless disappointed by open ai. Let's hope they are the Yahoo of AI
So who would be the Google of AI?
What do you edit with if not adobe??
Adobe lies. I am a professional designer and they are already including AI images in Adobe Stock without any warning and they are super crappy images in quality and humans are still deformed. It's not good.
Adobe's last struggles
Thanks for sharing. I'm a monthly paid Adobe subscriber, I mainly use After Effects. To be honest, I feel Adobe aged and is dying. The apps are running increasely slower after each update, and numbers of useless processes and hidden tasks eat up my RAM just to make sure I'm not stealing their software, but the bugs are still there or even more. Photoshop s***s too, feels like it haven't been optimized for years, crashes or freeze when opening a bigger PSD even on my gaming computer. BTW, I also hate "your prompt violates the community guidelines" during the working process, nothing violates before it's published, ok? I'm now stepping into open-source alternatives and their combinations, like Blender/Krita + Stable Diffusion. Would be grateful if you can introduce some use cases.
I've been thinking about moving away from Adobe, but it would make it easier if they file formats were to be able to run in open source software.
Insane
Good videos, very informative, but please use dark mode when showing twitter. I have PTSD before clicking on your videos because I'm getting blasted with photons when you go on twitter. Plus, I can't watch your videos if I'm blind, thanks :)
let's see how long 'this video was created using a.i.' lasts
it's going to be the black mark for everything
You will own nothing and be happy
Dammit. Everytime I try to get away from Adobe . They pull me back in
Thank God they're going to apply content credentials to identify AI generated sections. What does that mean, a watermark? This is something they should have been doing for decades: applying a flashing note everywhere a special effect was used so people wouldn't actually think they were really watching, say, an alien invasion.
do away with adobe guidelines BS & also subscription model and yes
I’m completely speechless. Except for this comment 🤣
Good
Who paid you the only reason you notice it is bc you see the before and after and know it's AI I think there video is awesome and I'd be nun the wiser if I watched that whole clip with all their AI edits. Say your definitely tripping on this one
Two thumbs down for all paid AI tools... they can get bent 👎👎👎👎👎
cool
This is rad
OK
Premiere***
It will always be in The Writing. The Old Ways will be become the new ways. Soon, people will loss the ability to mask, matte, track and roto. The fundamentals of editing will be automated and we will loss ability...
Any chance you could say "et cetera" instead of "ex cetera"? You use that expression a lot. I know, even educated people say it wrong.
MrDoLlEr
Fkof man these things, i already know current adobe new genfill for video are crap fully even cant beat AE genfill hmm
DUDE! Nord anything is garbage. SO dissapointed.
Early comment

I use capcutAI
Clever of them to choose a clockface without visible numbers...
A year ago we were getting mutated 2D gens out of text to image, now it decent movies that you can edit on the fly. It’s going faster and faster now.
So Adobe thinks Sora will release soon if they're trying to compliment Premier with SORA features. I still think Sora is a few years away, at least the SORA as powerful as the promos that been showing. Im still questioning if OpenAIs compute can keep up with demand if the promo quality remains the same high level.
Mira Murati already confirmed Sora is coming this year in a recent interview.
It looks to me like Adobe is hedging their bets that this year, the models will be up-to-par. They have the UI and the middleware, now they just need the backend.
This is truly amazing. The problem is that it's it's probably going to come with a cost above and beyond their already way too high subscription price.
Yeah, I'm strongly suspecting that all these "mainstream" (and by that I mean the usual suspects of big companies--Microsoft, Adobe, etc.) video AI tools, if they're released to the general public at all (I have my doubts), will be basically priced out of the reach of most common users.
@@vainezaiven6677 Nah Apple will do just that, the other companies will offer cheaper solutions of lower quality.
I’m really rooting for LTX. All in one, ideation, story creation, editing would be incredibly powerful and something I’d gladly pay a sub to access
what will be interesting is to see exactly WHO gets their hands on SORA at an enterprise level and IF me and you and the guy up the street will ever see any more than a crude demo on OpenAI's website. Cos I have a feeling if LTX wanted the same deal Adobe just got they would be flat out refused. Whatever else don't be believing Altman's tales of 'the good of humanity' like anyone else Altman is thinking of the 'good of Altman' more than anyone else
Altman himself must talk about the positives for humanity so that shareholders will allocate further billions to his openai.
AI movies INCOMING
Hollywood industry in shambles incoming
Are these standalones like Enhanche AI ?
I like how you say we should be under no illusions. And all of this, of course, will be chargeable, like generative fill in photoshop.
I have NordVPN. It's great.
Thank you for the great news. It seems it's time to plan a new type of business based on these technologies.
When we could be able to use it
My thoughts...
First : Don't forget if you have voice control over adobes whole package ( I assume its control of the whole computer with all the apps installed) , then it can do all the LTX does as well.
They might already be thinking ahead half a year when we have full control over our computer with voice. By summer we will have Sora and the voice control, I am quite sure. They were late for that game.
Second: Their ecosystem is huge and if they already get OpenaAI-s Sora, that means they will get the storytelling as well.
So just imagine you can tell your AdoBot to use any software on your computer to design anything
LTX is the most INTERESTING thing cooking in the video space but I'd use this too!
Yes!!!
after effects dont like this. he feel alone
Adobe is waiting for LTX to develop fully before start purchasing them.... if it succeeds (Adobe failed on Figma though)
Would imagine they only facilitate using other models in there program. The same way you don't "get" gpt-3 or 4 with Firefox of Chrome
This allows you to tweak a video in *small ways*. Reason is it can't generate the bulk of the video, just slightly augment small portions.
I don't want to sound like a sinic, but most of Adobe's examples look in that video.
I love the idea, but if that video is the best cherrypicking they can use, then is not that good.
