Man, it's been such a long time since I played. I spent like 12 or so hours on a build, and then that fire happened that took out their servers and my progress was deleted, so I didn't play since then. I should pick it up again when I have the time.

Not many people play now online, but you will be able to get into build mode and tinker, with some luck find a game or two on the weekends. @@kevzebro6539 I might set aside my ire for EAC for Robocraft 2. I'd like to see them make a more skill-based version of the game. I've been playing Guild Wars 2 lately, and have learned a lot about how someone can take a genre that's notoriously bad at pvp (mmos), and making it good at it.
That server I linked is not RC2! It is still active BTW, I don't think I've seen you there! Its a private community hosted server of an old 2015 RC build (the hotfix patch after BA update). @@manictiger
I think the game started going to shit when they got rid of the medic gun damaging the other bots atlest thats wut i remember it made me varey sad o loved how the medic guns worked befor
Iirc, that was a programming error and they had to patch it. It started getting bad when plasma was nerfed (instead of maybe adding a shield that can be used on command to reduce damage), and it got really bad when homing rockets were introduced. Any skill that was needed to play, was taken away.

Interesting. Hope they get rid of EAC and other kernel-level anti-cheat. I tend to avoid games that use that, these days.
