Beautiful! As a beginner it was interesting for me to see how you pivoted to get closer to your vision. You're always wonderful to watch and I'm very much enjoying your Northern Lights series.

Loving the beautiful colours, it’s like rainbow waterfalls. Colour, fluidity and movement. It’s about energy and how it can be transferred and evolved. You are so talented and creative xx

First of all, you were very lucky to see blue. It’s the rarest color you can see in the northern lights. I appreciate that you showed the entire process - it teaches us that it’s ok to not totally like what you’ve done and make changes. It’s another reason fluid art is fluid.
I definitely like the second piece better - especially when you added more paint. It definitely pops now. I think a few trees would make this painting perfect. Until now, the series has made me feel as though I was in the atmosphere watching in wonder. This piece shows the lights almost raining down. Yes, you nailed the blending of the colors, the intense section of one color, and the fading away of those colors. But there is definitely a vertical feel to it. By adding trees, I think I would feel grounded - and that the universe was raining its precious gift down on humanity. Just my ponderings…
P.S. I got my first paints in the mail tonight. I’m going to play with layering before I do a full pour. ❤

Oh Mark! I love the whole process and showing us what you didn’t like. I loved the swipe and can already see a beautiful forest in there with a pop of pop to give it that special northern lights feel! I would love to see this next video to see what you do next. I would be tempted to do a silhouette again the trees or a moon rising up! This one makes my imagination go wild! You are an awesome creative my friend! ❤❤❤

About a week ago we had a fairly cloudy night and a full moon. The moon radiated into the clouds creating an aurora like effect. Not the Northern Lights obviously, but a small scale halo of light shimmering around the moon. I took pictures through the trees and the pictures are marvelous. It truly recreates the feelings and experience I had that night. So I think adding trees may be exactly what you're looking for. The painting is beautiful as is - it's YOUR vision and what YOU want to do next that's important. Thank you - as always.

Bon week-end à toi doux et inspirant Mark ! 😉❤❤

I preferred it before the cells erupted through and the gorgeous purple dominated to me. I say “enhance “ with black shadow birches with silver accents and a white/silvery moon in the corner.

I think this is beautiful. I would love for you to try pearl paints alongside your purples and greens and don’t forget a dark blue even though the base is black. I add a toothbrush spritz of pearl white and once it dries you can add some tall black trees! It’s the magical forest you’ve never seen!

I like how u changed it. It really came together once u swiped it. I was wondering how it would to blow it slightly after u swiped it so it would give a more natural look instead of the straight lines just from the swipe ? I don't think I've ever seen u swipe & the just slightly blow it. But I do like it a lot. & to add the trees or mountains at the bottom will really set it off. Great job Mark!!

When swiping, do you have to swipe straight or can you move a bit from side to side? If so, could you show us? I think some trees as you suggested would enhance this.

    Hi Mark,
I'm a bit earlier than usual & I'm glad about that.
I love seeing how this creation evolved the further you went with it.
I really like the way it turned out but feel some embellishment would not go astray.
I'm happy to say that my arms (& the rest of my body parts) seem to be getting stronger each day & feel that it won't be that long till I'm able to put all your lessons to work.
I HAVE been busy stocking up on the things I'll need. I have canvases, paints, various tools for texture, marbles, balloons, hairdryer & butane torch.
As each pension had come around I picked a couple of items so should have everything needed.
I've even taken notes as i've been watching your videos.
So thank you for being such a wonderful teacher.
I feel confident (without being overly confident) that when I do start a creation of my own, I will not be nervous & the artwork will flow reasonably easy.
I have to have everything in place before I start a new venture. I have OCD but rather than finding it a hassle, I find it very helpful.
I always know where things are & those things are usually in order.
So again, thanks for your exceptional teaching skills, the calm way you deliver those skills & as always, your positive attitude about not just your creations but the positive attitude you show to each of your fans as we set off on our own creations.
Thank you for befriending us & for being a friend to us.
    Cheers
    Adrienne, Australia 🦘🇦🇺🪃

IMO, the streaks are too vertical, pictures and video I’ve see of the northern lights the are wavy. Maybe when you swiped the paint you should have done it is a wavy pattern. You really saved the painting when you swiped it though.
