I mean, the elf ears, same hair and eye color, bandaged up because she was messed up from Petelgeuse's attack. The voice actor is different than Fortuna but in the first episode they sounded so similar, and also "the homewrecker", "taking away", I bet she thinks Emilia killed Petelgeuse.
The reason Subaru panicked in the second loop was because when trying to rescue Rusbel, he felt his fear through Sirius' authority, which made him also feel fear, which Rusbel felt as well, which increased his fear and sent it to Subaru and the same back, making a truly terrifying vicious circle that incapacitated them. By the way, Sirius knowing Subaru's name is just a subtitle error. That sentence should say Rusbel-kun.

This was a fantastic showcasing of how Reinhard can't just be the easy solution to every obstacle. In other series the OP characters easily resolve issues or would easily end threats unless they were against an equally OP opponent, JJK and Bleach are great examples with Gojo and Captain Yama. But here against someone soooooo much weaker than him he still loses to her. "A hero is all you can be" Pucks words from the unthinkable present vision Subaru witnessed carry through here, with Reinhard killing all those innocent people it would destroy him beyond repair, the invincible was defeated
In my opinion the stakes are always much higher in Re:zero BECAUSE of the fact that Subaru can die at any time. In most stories the mc dying is usually not something that happens and you almost never expect it so you're always in this mindset that it'll turn out fine. In Re:zero the stakes might actually be lower for the characters in the series but for us as viewers they feel much higher.
Reinhard against Sirius was slowly being affected too btw. Its just he is mostly immune but not totally. Thats why he couldnt figure out something was wrong when people were chanting "kill her" like crazy.
So yeah, Wrath is called "Sirius Romanée-Conti", she sees his beloved on Subaru due to his techinque, which is from Petelgeuse Romanée-Conti, and also she envies Emilia's looks, since Petelgeuse loved her aunt (as seen on Emilia's flashback). We can see that Wrath did something to look closer to that (silver har and stuff).
I just love Beako, she slowly became one of my favorites, if not my favorite character of the show… I adore how her personality and also how her relationship with Subaru evolved: when she said: “You don’t need to tell me how or when you learned about it… Just the fact that you told me is all the proof I need…”, man that was beautiful… It just shows how much faith and trust she has in Subaru (and also viceversa) and how much chemistry there is between them (they understand each other with one simple look) P.S. They started to remind me so much of a “couple” from my favorite anime of all time😍❤️

After accepting Subaru as her "person" and basically dad/brother figure, there's absolutely no way in this or any timeline where Beako would take Subaru's life, even if he were already on the brink of death. This is the person she's decided was worth hundreds of years trapped in a library for and she would definitely let herself go out before him.
Reinhart sword is special. It~s one of the strongest swords in this world, but it only ALLOWS itself to be drawn IF it finds the enemy worth it. Meaning he cannot draw it unless the sword itself chooses it. that's why he uses any thrown away weapon instead.

I feel like the penalty will still apply. Satella doesn't want others to know about his ability in any form. Saying it's seeing the future will bring about the same reaction from as saying he returns by death. They'll become aware that he knows the future and Satella won't want that.
He can explain events about the future. He just cant explain the proof. He cant reveal the RBD itself. But he can and could always talk about stuff that happened before.
One thing I really appreciate about the Reinhard loop this episode is that, despite him being “the strongest”, Reinhard is not the answer to every problem. Sure, he outclasses Sirius in a fight and did technically defeat her, but he certainly did not win.
Iirc, the Webnovel states that Subaru tried to talk to Betty about RbD once during the last year, thinking that his last meeting with Satella might’ve changed the way she dishes out punishments, but he got punished anyways. Keep in mind that the WN is not completely canon, as it is the first draft. The most interesting part is how Betty can smell the increase of miasma when it happens, which is probably why Beatrice reacts the way she does after he returns here.

By the way, when Sirius attacks Emilia after she told him she was upset, Sirius produced a flame of a different color than the ones he used at the beginning and said that all the anger belonged to him. I think that in the novel, Sirius' way of fighting was like that. Making others feel anger to increase his strength.
This is the first scene where one of Tappei’s comments from hus Q&A’s becomes relevant. Essentially, Authorities hold presidence over Divine Protections. Even someone as blessed as Reinhard would still find that Sin Archbishops are their natural enemies. That said, it’s not like Divine Protections can’t defend against authorities at all. Subaru’s Invisible Providence could probably easily be destroyed by a combat related DP. So I’ll amend that statement: if the primary effect of an authority and the primary effect of a Divine Protection are mutually exclusive, the Authority will always prevail. Reinhard could probably destroy an Invisible Providence hand with ease, but no matter what, he probably can’t stop Subaru from summoning them in the first place. Why is this relevant here? Well basically, while Reinhard has some resistance to Sirius’ Authority, he still got swept up in the mood enough to be caught off guard.

One thing worth noting about Reinhard's sword going forward is that you said he can only use it if it's an opponent that is so strong it warrants it. That's not entirely accurate as the sword is very picky on who it wants to fight. You see there are opponents that Reinhard could defeat without the sword that aren't really powerful but the sword will allow itself to be used but other opponents that are much more formidable, and warrants using the sword but it might refuse to draw. It all depends on if the sword decides that the opponent is worthy of its use. It's quite frustrating for Reinhard when he goes against powerful opponents who warrant using the sword, but it refuses to be drawn. Now if Reinhard faced someone that's actually stronger than himself the sword would draw, but the issue is he's the strongest person in the world 😂 so going purely by strength the amount of times that sword can be used is very limited.

I have a hunch about what Subaru needs to break free from Sirius' enchantment. I initially thought it was her clapping that put them in a trance, but it seems like her enchantment might be triggered by proximity or by attracting attention with her voice. This enchantment doesn't work on Reinhard because he's at a much higher level than her, and it doesn't work on Betty because she's a spirit. In this arc, we have a singer who will likely be important for the conclusion, and we saw in the first episode that the singer can attract a large audience, just like Sirius did. I believe Subaru will need the singer to break Sirius' enchantment. I'm almost certain the singer is the key to defeating Sirius, at least to break the enchantment. But now, I'm curious to know how he'll deal with her in a direct confrontation.
In the LN, Subaru questions whether he died by fear or asphyxiation. The author tweeted out when the episode aired that Subaru did in fact die from fear-induced cardiac arrest.
One cool thing to highlight, Beatrice and Emilia became very close in this time skip and became friends, sometimes they sleep together and make small talk, in the first seasons Beatrice barely looked at her and she didn't even like to say her name, this was explored in a side story.
The person Subaru could talk about his return by death was Echidna. And it was because it was inside of her realm, safe from Satella's wrath. We are no longer in that realm so he is not safe to talk about it to anyone

A piece of content that never made its way into the anime that takes place between seasons 1 and 2 gives some more context to why Sirius behaved the way she did when talking to Emilia, and about how Regulus has found room for wives 😅 In a short story Sirius finds Geuse's dead body at the end of season 1 and mourns him, crying and screaming. She does this while on the phone (metia) with Regulus. Regulus got angry, saying that she was annoying him, and if he was there, he'd kill her for violating his rights. One of his wives accidentally walked by when he was speaking to Sirius and got afraid. Regulus turned around and asked the wife if she was scared. Then he murdered the wife. Sirius later proceeded to hunt all of Geuse's fingers down and killed every single one of them when she saw none of them were him.
I think the reason Subaru was trying to do everything on his own was time limit he wasn't sure where others were and if he did went to find them it would have been too late for people at the square.
The author himself said that Regulus is the strongest among the archbishops. We all seen how basically nothing can even touch him, much less harm him. That's a "Better call Reinhard" lvl problem right there.

Reinhard is quite a tragic character. Despite being the archetypical hero, having all the power in the world, it’s all but useless to him in situations like this. Subaru, while being really weak in comparison to the stronger fighters in the world, keeps on managing to save everybody (according to what the rest of the world sees), while Reinhard can’t even stop his family from falling apart.

The reason Subaru panicked in the second loop was because when trying to rescue Rusbel, he felt his fear through Sirius' authority, which made him also feel fear, which Rusbel felt as well, which increased his fear and sent it to Subaru and the same back, making a truly terrifying vicious circle that incapacitated them. By the way, Sirius knowing Subaru's name is just a subtitle error. That sentence should say Rusbel-kun.

This was a fantastic showcasing of how Reinhard can't just be the easy solution to every obstacle. In other series the OP characters easily resolve issues or would easily end threats unless they were against an equally OP opponent, JJK and Bleach are great examples with Gojo and Captain Yama. But here against someone soooooo much weaker than him he still loses to her. "A hero is all you can be" Pucks words from the unthinkable present vision Subaru witnessed carry through here, with Reinhard killing all those innocent people it would destroy him beyond repair, the invincible was defeated
In my opinion the stakes are always much higher in Re:zero BECAUSE of the fact that Subaru can die at any time. In most stories the mc dying is usually not something that happens and you almost never expect it so you're always in this mindset that it'll turn out fine. In Re:zero the stakes might actually be lower for the characters in the series but for us as viewers they feel much higher.
Reinhard against Sirius was slowly being affected too btw. Its just he is mostly immune but not totally. Thats why he couldnt figure out something was wrong when people were chanting "kill her" like crazy.
So yeah, Wrath is called "Sirius Romanée-Conti", she sees his beloved on Subaru due to his techinque, which is from Petelgeuse Romanée-Conti, and also she envies Emilia's looks, since Petelgeuse loved her aunt (as seen on Emilia's flashback). We can see that Wrath did something to look closer to that (silver har and stuff).
I just love Beako, she slowly became one of my favorites, if not my favorite character of the show… I adore how her personality and also how her relationship with Subaru evolved: when she said: “You don’t need to tell me how or when you learned about it… Just the fact that you told me is all the proof I need…”, man that was beautiful… It just shows how much faith and trust she has in Subaru (and also viceversa) and how much chemistry there is between them (they understand each other with one simple look)

After accepting Subaru as her "person" and basically dad/brother figure, there's absolutely no way in this or any timeline where Beako would take Subaru's life, even if he were already on the brink of death. One thing I really appreciate about the Reinhard loop this episode is that, despite him being “the strongest”, Reinhard is not the answer to every problem. Sure, he outclasses Sirius in a fight and did technically defeat her, but he certainly did not win.
Iirc, the Webnovel states that Subaru tried to talk to Betty about RbD once during the last year, thinking that his last meeting with Satella might’ve changed the way she dishes out punishments, but he got punished anyways.
Keep in mind that the WN is not completely canon, as it is the first draft.
The most interesting part is how Betty can smell the increase of miasma when it happens, which is probably why Beatrice reacts the way she does after he returns here.

One thing worth noting about Reinhard's sword going forward is that you said he can only use it if it's an opponent that is so strong it warrants it. That's not entirely accurate as the sword is very picky on who it wants to fight. You see there are opponents that Reinhard could defeat without the sword that aren't really powerful but the sword will allow itself to be used but other opponents that are much more formidable, and warrants using the sword but it might refuse to draw. It all depends on if the sword decides that the opponent is worthy of its use. It's quite frustrating for Reinhard when he goes against powerful opponents who warrant using the sword, but it refuses to be drawn. Now if Reinhard faced someone that's actually stronger than himself the sword would draw, but the issue is he's the strongest person in the world 😂 so going purely by strength the amount of times that sword can be used is very limited.

I have a hunch about what Subaru needs to break free from Sirius' enchantment. I initially thought it was her clapping that put them in a trance, but it seems like her enchantment might be triggered by proximity or by attracting attention with her voice. This enchantment doesn't work on Reinhard because he's at a much higher level than her, and it doesn't work on Betty because she's a spirit. In this arc, we have a singer who will likely be important for the conclusion, and we saw in the first episode that the singer can attract a large audience, just like Sirius did. I believe Subaru will need the singer to break Sirius' enchantment. I'm almost certain the singer is the key to defeating Sirius, at least to break the enchantment. But now, I'm curious to know how he'll deal with her in a direct confrontation.
In the LN, Subaru questions whether he died by fear or asphyxiation. The author tweeted out when the episode aired that Subaru did in fact die from fear-induced cardiac arrest.

One of his wives accidentally walked by when he was speaking to Sirius and got afraid. Regulus turned around and asked the wife if she was scared. Then he murdered the wife. Sirius later proceeded to hunt all of Geuse's fingers down and killed every single one of them when she saw none of them were him.

regardless of if he counts the dead ones or not he does arbitrarily numbers them the number 79 was supposed to be fortuna’s number (this is from cut content) but we all saw what happened to her humans don’t last 100 years so the numbers of his wives would have changed since then and Emilia’s number being different would be highly unlikely to match
Reinhard is quite a tragic character. Despite being the archetypical hero, having all the power in the world, it’s all but useless to him in situations like this.
Subaru, while being really weak in comparison to the stronger fighters in the world, keeps on managing to save everybody (according to what the rest of the world sees), while Reinhard can’t even stop his family from falling apart.
