Yesterday I cooked it in 1 kg rice. Soaked for at least 15 hours. First used 1.2 kg meat and 1.5 kg bones in 1 lit of yakhni. In the end I was not satisfied so I pressure cooked another 1+ kg meat in the saved 1 lit yakhni. Added additional masala in a Lenin wrap. Added bay leaf and red chillies and garlic and ginger paste. When meat was tender the I used half lit of yakhni old and new meat and mixed with rice. Cooked on high flame for 5-10 mins and dum for few minutes. The end result was awesome. There were guests in the party from Peshawar and they said yea it’s the same Peshawari taste. Thanks you chef AFZAL All you recipes are awesome. In Canada we have mostly electrical stoves. And therefore flat bottom pots. The salt and sugar are less in taste. Even red Chilies are mild and sugar not that sweet. Meat chicken daal rice etc cooks very quickly in very less time. Please do guide us one Canadian style of cooking.

Bakra can be substitute not fish. Bcoz u cannot make yakhni out of fish so try with mutton 🐐
