Congrats to the new owner. Personally I hate even minor mods from factory settings so to me that BMW is already devalued and I would skip over it if I saw it for sale once I realised how heavily modded it was.

Yah It's seriously difficult to believe some random dude giving little money gets a what 17k dollar bike? Not that it doesn't happen BUT it happens when the sponsor is the manufacturer not some 175k sub few thousand view a vid youtuber. I thought about putting my name in the hat but it's not regulated and no way of proving it's fair or that the one that pledges most isn't favored,etc..OR it could be ib is so rich he gives away 17k like it's candy..
OR it's possible it's all a setup to gain patreons when in actuality the winners are in on it seeming that it's on the up and up. Technically if they pledge they qualify whether rigged is not provable unless one of them narc. Before I pledge I want to know who has actually won in it's history.

YZF-R1000 has always been a very high revving motorcycle. Even the pre-crossplane iterations. My 2007 didn't wake up until 12k RPM.
