Thanks for the video. Just wanted to through this out there. I found that the metal from tealight candles is just the right size to turn this into an alcohol burner. Also experimented with mark young's suggestion of burning the flat fire starter in this as well. Worked well enough. Cheaper than esbit but quite a bit sooty. So thanks again for the vid. Really enjoy this little stove
Thanks for the video... Instead of using fuel tabs get some cotton wool pads and mix in some vaseline with the cotton wool, this is nice and light, they light easier and you can put a few in a plastic zip lock. They burn better as well.
watch a esbit comparison video before yours. on this one he put a 1 in to 1.25 bean can piece as a wind screen heat inhancer. by this i mean he focused & concentrated the heat from the tablet of fuel upward instead of outward. so he got a faster boil time. you may want to try this.
