Hate depression, that it would make you want to do this whilst your family was in the house with you. Satan is 😈, it's bad enough going out into the bush to do it. That's the one thing I think about when I become suicidal, how do I do it with minimal effect on others. So glad that little girl did not have to grow up feeling that inadequacy & that you woke up before this damage was irreparably done. Thank God.
Anyone watching this remember you are beautiful and know you are worthy and will get through all the hard times when you lean on God and call his name to help you and give you strength to keep pushing.

Brother remember James 4:6, I used to think like you too "oh but this person has a job at least, o but this person is healthy and I'm sick, o but this person is skilled and I'm not, oh but this person has a good relationship with their family and I don't" All of those things don't worth to think of them, each one of us are different and the devil will try to destroy us with those things or without it, many commit suicide even having a family, friends, and money. Read Philippians 4:8, 1 Peter 5:10, Revelation 7:13-14; 21:3-5, Deuteronomy 31:8, Psalm 3:3, 2 Corinthians 1:3-4. Think in those things, keep on fighting
And if you feel like no one understands you read about king David, see how much he suffered, even tho he was told that was going to be a king most of his life was suffering, and even as a king, read the psalms, you'll realize that if God forgave him, lifted him up, and restored to him the joy of the salvation of the Lord (Psalms 51:12), God can make it with you too. Or think about our Lord Jesus, He was mocked by his brothers (John 7:1-9), rejected by his neighbors (Luke 4:16-30), when he was in a huge distressed he felt so lonely, even tho an angel was with him, cuz his friends/disciples where not accompany him in prayer rather they were sleeping and didn't listen to the warning that Jesus gave them about praying to not fall into temptation (Matthew 26:36-46; Luke 22:39-46). He was betrayed (Matthew 26:14-16; Mark 14:43-50) and then denied by people who were close to him (Luke 22:54-60), and we all know the amount of suffering he passed through when he got arrested and put on the cross (Matthew 27:46). But all of that was worthy, now He is at the right hand of the Father in eternal Glory (John 13:31; Romans 8:34), and He promise the same eternal Glory to you (Romans 8:17; Revelations 3:20-22; 1 John 5:4). Man maybe nobody thought Jesus could do something good at the beginning (John 1:46), and is the same with you, God wants to heal the sick through you (Mark 16:18), preach through you (1 Corinthians 1:19-23; Mark 16:15), lift up people through you in his Name (1 Thessalonians 5:9-11; 1 Peter 8:9), if you are alive is not just because (Ephesians 1:4), ask God to help you to see and be the person He wants you to be (Ephesians 2:10; Psalm 139:14).

@@anonymous.christian No amount of scripture is contextually applicable for those who have nothing, who are isolated, who are old, and have no possibility for change for their remaining days. Promises in scripture are for after this life. You can't tell a person with no legs to have hope to walk again. It is selfish for those with families, friends, or any kind of loved ones to abandon them and end their life. The only Biblical advice, which is certainly of no comfort, is "Obey because you're told to."
If this concept is unrelatable to you and you don't understand, be thankful that you don't and are blessed in such a way so as to have hope, purpose, and loved ones and a reason to go on beyond, "Because you're told to."

I’m 100% disabled military with PTSD. I’m in that spot. My parents are gone, sister gone, support dog gone. God seems so far away. I’m physically ill from nerves, broken spirit and mind. I’ve done all the VA stuff. Just please pray for me. I’m just doing life one day at a time. Thanks.

I am not strong of psyche and have nihilistic, selfdestructive thoughts. I envy others, especially those who speak other languages and have higher earning capacity and capabilities as against my age. My big achievement is being 52 and still able-bodied, sort of, and in the free world (not in jail). I want a relationship with God, someone to have a conversation with

After my grandfather died ..some problems in work
... start losing so much weight sticking in old memories...i jump of two stories building.. broke my leg..other 🤕 injuries... sometimes why I put myself in that but yes God have a plan of each other ❤..i moved from welchair to crutches ND then walk freely.. it's really a blessing to walk alone with no help of no one even the pain sometimes...would like to hear other stories

EXACTLY. It's only men with families or spouses or other loved ones who seem to matter to people of the world. The rest are forgotten, easily discarded as irrelevant or simply not even seen. They haven't begun to know suffering until they've been broken down to nothing, have nobody, be isolated, and too old for hope for this life for any of that to change.
I can relate bro, I have been battling this same thing since my last deployment 15 years ago but for some reason God doesn't want to take my depression and I have been stuck in another episode for the past year and half now. I don't understand what it is that God wants me to learn from being stuck in this state and it irritates me greatly. I am sure I deserve this but his grace should have taken it from by now, it is sufficient after all. The big questions I have are what and why. I know God can fix it but to be honest I am just ready to go home, my kids keep me alive for now and they don't even know it. My wife has her own issues and the Va sucks for treatment and it seems like they are only worried about saving money and pumping me full of meds that don't work, so its just me and God. I am glad to see that God touched you and has provided some healing and I pray he continues to work in your life so that you never have to deal with depression again. Thank you for sharing your story its nice to see a little bit hope in the darkness. God bless.
If you are not baptized, please get baptized and totally surrender to Jesus. Daily bible reading or listening to the bible on audio. Focus on Jesus and meditate on his word. Don't be bound by the enemies tricks and ask God for deliverance. Ask God if there is anything in my life that is not of you or for you to get rid of it. Keep praying and have others pray with you. Never stop. God will deliver you!

Focus on loving others more than yourself. You have a wife you should focus on (re: Ephesians 5:25). Be a man and do that. You have a family and kids who need you and you are blessed far more than so many others who are isolated, have no family or friends and are legitimately suicidal. Less you, more them and God is the key. Obey God and stop being selfish. Love your wife and be the man your family needs. Depression isn't a light switch, focus on what you do have, be a man, and if you abandon them, you NEVER deserved them to begin with.

Abandoning your wife isn't bravery, it's selfishness, at least he didn't go through with it. Many don't have the luxuries this dude has in regards to people in their lives.

What a burden that must be... to have family and that they're depressed.

Marine vet also. Started a slow decline and total feeling of hopelessness. The thought of the end was the only thing that felt normal. I reached out to my wife, she filed for divorce shortly after. And what I thought was hopelessness wasn't I hadn't gotten that low yet.
Why God saves him but not others..others take their own lives too..
But no healing comes
have faith, for in faith sees how you trust God, accepts what ever happens to you and continue to trust God.

Imagine having a wife, people in your life and not caring about these blessings and being so focused on self you think of ending it. 🙄I'd hate for those types to see actual pain, isolation, death, and hopelessness for this life like *real* people do.
WHAT EVERYONE DESERVES TO KNOW ABOUT HEAVEN:
Jesus Christ destroyed the barrier of sin between God and mankind at the cross so we can have peace with Him and have assurance we’ll make it to heaven.
WHY WOULD HE DO THAT? The Bible (God's only trustworthy Word for the human race) tells us: All of us were born with an unrighteous sinful nature. We inherited it spiritually from Adam and Eve, the first two created people, because of their disobedience to God by giving into the devil's deceiving temptation. Why would the devil do such a thing anyway? Because he hates God! The devil wants no one enjoying intimate, joyous relationship with God. He once had it yet lost it, and now wants no one else having it either.
God is so holy - so righteous - so pure … that He cannot and will not allow unrighteous sinners to remain with Him in heaven. But God had a plan to undo what Satan did to the human race. Jesus Christ IS the plan! Jesus came to earth to ransom you and everyone else for Himself, God the Father, and God the Holy Spirit. He took full punishment for your sins against God and the sins of everyone else on the cross so our sins no longer would keep us separated from God. Furthermore, He traded His righteousness for our unrighteousness through His death, burial and resurrection! (See: 2 Corinthians 5:21. It is ONLY God’s IMPUTED righteousness that makes us acceptable to Him - that is FREELY given to us who make Jesus our Savior and Lord. Imagine being in a courtroom, and the Judge has just sentenced you to death. Also imagine Jesus Christ being your lawyer. Jesus Christ says to the Judge (or in other words, God the heavenly Father): "Your Honor, I want to serve my client's sentence and pay the price for his/her wrong-doing by dying instead so my client can go free." Can you imagine someone doing such a thing for you?! JESUS DID IT!
Of course you may be thinking at that moment: I haven't done anything to be sentenced to die! I'm being falsely accused! "What have I supposedly DONE, God?!" Here's your answer: God gave 10 commandments for people to keep in the Old Testament Bible. Anyone who breaks just one of those commandments must be punished for breaking them against God. Where does it say THAT?! It says that in Romans 6:23: For the wages of sin is death but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Have you ever lied? Lied just one time? Everyone of us has lied at least once. Number 9 of the 10 commandments says: Thou shalt not lie (bear false witness). You know what that makes us? A disobedient sinning liar against God and His moral law - His 10 commandments. (Revelation 21:8 also tells us what God thinks of lying). You just read above what God says about our disobedient sinning against Him by breaking just ONE of His moral laws: God’s punishment for doing so is DEATH. Spiritual death. Ultimately total separation from God and agonizingly suffering for our sins against Him for all eternity -- totally void of any love, peace, hope, joy or forgiveness from God ever again (otherwise known as hell).
BUT HERE IS GOD'S BEST NEWS! We can receive forgiveness for all our unrighteous, disobedience (sins) against God and our sins against others RIGHT NOW and have certainty RIGHT NOW that on the Judgment Day, our sins WON'T be held against us! HOW CAN THAT BE?! By asking Jesus Christ to forgive us for our sins and trusting that He HAS forgiven us of them simply by our asking and trusting! Jesus will do it! 1 John 1:8-9 says: If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Thus if we make Jesus our personal Lord and Savior - every time we sin - we have every right to ask Jesus Christ to forgive us of our sin(s) - cleanse us as though we never sinned - so that when our heart stops beating, we can be assured that we won't have to suffer eternal damnation for our sins. Jesus Christ did what no other human being has ever done or ever could do. He was the ONLY person on this planet who has never sinned. And because He never sinned, He is the only acceptable sacrifice God the Father would accept to pay ransom payment for each of OUR sins. That is simply AMAZING, isn't it?! Yet JESUS DID IT!
WHY? Because of God’s LOVE and MERCY for lost souls like you and I who will reach out in humility and demonstrate appreciation for His FREE GIFT of forgiveness (pardon) so we can have friendship and intimacy with Him starting now ... and lasting for ETERNITY! This life is your starting point with your loving Creator that will last for eternity. Ask Jesus for His FREE GIFT of forgiveness TODAY. Ask Him to live inside you. He WANTS to!
