I'm a guy and I love the second pair of wedding heels! Brides need to wear open toe heels so we can see the pedi. I love them. When I go to weddings I only look at the beautiful bride and her wedding dress and what heels she picked out!! By the way you ladies look beautiful!

Thank you, this helped me narrow down my decision. I've been looking at the American Duchess shoes, while they are a bit pricey, it's your wedding, and if you take care of them they should last you a decade or three. I've narrowed it down to three choices, depending on the style of dress and wedding. For the Edwardian lasy chemise dress, the Ivory "Oxford" with a 2" inch heal. For the Pre-Raphaelite/Medieval/Lord of the Rings dress, the Ivory "Emma" "Regency Leather Boot" low anckle, no heal. And for the more Modern/1950s stile dress, (maybe like the one you're wearing) with either a short or long skirt, the French Blue "May" "Edwardians" 2¼" inch heal. Or just some ballet slippers from online somewhere.
They sound amazing... we are off to check these shoes out online. But you are right, good shoes should last longer and it is your wedding so why not?!
