A few slight corrections: - Manu replaced Myron of Yorum - same with Egendo being replaced by Borys. These Sorcerer Kings and Queens are fond of changing their names, and I misread it as that. - Yes, I am aware I called Hamanu "Troll Slayer" and not "Troll Scorcher" - I, unfortunately, have WFRP on the brain! - I forgot to mention that Borys lives Ur Draxa, which is in The Valley of Dust and Fire. Hope this helps! Bud
Another banger of a video, thank you for taking the time to make these videos! Your narration is spot on as always, such an enjoyable cadence in your voice.
You have a wonderful voice and an amazing channel. Love the civilized, mellow presentation style. Having just watched the intro to Masks of N..., and in the post-True Detective era, perhaps there would be an audience for campaigns related to Hastur/the Yellow King? Thanks again. Let me know if you've already done them and I've overlooked.
Glad to see Dark Sun getting love on your channel! Although I started TTRPGs playing in AD&D 2E Al-Qadim back in '95, my first DM sold me his boxed sets of Ravenloft and Dark Sun before he suddenly transferred to a new school for the following year. All three of those are my top three (Ravenloft is #1 because I've always loved horror), but Dark Sun is the only one that I haven't been able to play or run. I came close to running it a few times before WotC D&D 3E started up, but my longtime group didn't have the same passion for Dark Sun (or Ravenloft) that I did. That was in the late 90s... One of these days, I'm sure I'll get around to it. Until then, if you have more Dark Sun coverage planned, I look forward to them! Al-Qadim would also be a good series, especially the setting lore and some of the adventures. From what I remember: many of those adventures are written with a bit of railroading in mind, but the overall ideas within them are generally really cool.
I'm currently working on lots of things... unfortunately videos get released as and when I finish them. I work full time and have children so I fit it in when I can.

Much appreciated!
Thank you, I plan to run a Dark Sun campaign on Discord very soon and this was a lot of help! I will also be using AD&D 2e for the first time!
Ah Dark Sun, such an underrated setting.
Dark sun, my favorite fantasy setting

My eight part breakdown of Impossible Landscapes is about the King in Yellow. Glad you’re enjoying the channel.
Great vid! Love the Dragon Rulers! I'd love for you to cover more Dark Sun lore, there ain't enough old school people covering it!
Depends what lore people want tbh...
A dark world...thanks for more infernal knowledge, oh hands of the mysterious one..... known only to us as...... Bud.

Dark Sun along with planescape is my favourite of the TSR/WoTC D&D settings.
Great video! Makes me want to play the setting - wish there was more Dark Sun content...
You and me both!
Jee You are back! I have missed those hands!

Great lore
Hamanu actually replaced Myron
Yes, you are correct - I misread that as a name change (like Uyness becoming Abalach-Re.). I will pin a correction. Many thanks.
Just saw your Discord message. Subscribed
Many thanks. I hope you find it useful.
Can you give me a list of all the books with these stories?
The Prism Pentad series by Troy Denning.
@@BudsRPGreview Thanks but I already know that one. What can you tell me about the others?
